While this product is very reliable and easy to use (on a mac) I find myself wanting more contrast than what I am getting, also I would love for it to be a little bit faster too!

Works great. Needed a lightscribe burner for my Mac. Does the job.

Had LaCie drives and CD burner before, still believe in the brand, but my unit came with a defective mechanism, it could not read its own burned DVDs regardless of the brand of DVD. Same problem in Windows as in OSX, could not open any movie either! Send it to LaCie for warranty repair, here is where the warranty of the unit is one of its strong selling points.
