it came apart

My Vivitar HD4 MC AF High Definition 2.2x telephoto converter was not easy to get on. It didn't work well. When I took it off it came off in two pieces instead of one. I cannot figure how to get it back together.

Not good with Canon

Even though the ring size will fit with our Canon XA15, when you zoom in you get "blooming". Unusable for our purposes. The Canon attachment was over $ and we were trying an inexpensive alternative. We knew going into it that this might be a problem. And with a different camera it may work fine. But, in the end, I guess you really do get what you pay for. The optics just won't cut it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try it on a different model or manufacturer. It's pretty inexpensive.
