This charger is very useful to me because I travel extensively and can count on it for charging my batteries in any situation, on the road, at home or in Europe.

Bought to replace original battery charger. Works as a replacement but rather long charge times in my opinion. Not really sure how it got rapid in the title but 3 hours is not rapid to me.

I bought this charger for my car: Even though I carry two batteries with me, every now and then I run low on battery. This charger gives me the ability to recharge my batteries in the car. I have not done a direct comparison, but I think it charges my Canon and my 3rd party battery faster then the original Canon charger.
