So this does what it claims, however it isn't smooth enough to use in a film unless it's about a war or a fighting scene. It's pretty jittery and that's unfortunate as it's for the cinema zoom lens line. If you're doing doc work it might be okay, or if you're not doing any zooming whilst shooting then it's great.

I'm an experienced shooter and in my switch to a cinema camera, this was an essential part of my camera package. I do a lot of field shooting where the look of a cinema camera was what I was looking for, but I would only do it with a servo zoom option. This connects to the camera very easily, works how it's supposed to and is a great tool. If you're thinking about getting one, just do yourself a favor and do it.
