Bang for the buck

Very little magenta cast. Very accurate 10 stop rating. Slight vignette in the corners. How I tested. I set up my D850 camera with a 17-35mm f/2.8 Tamron lens set at 17mm 3 feet in front of white seamless paper. I placed 2 Einstien lights bare bulb on either side of the camera. At the lowest power setting using an incedent flash meter to set the reading at f/4 - ISO 100 across the image as best I could and took a control shot. I then added the M10 filter holder using the 77mm mounting ring, added the ND filter and increased the output of the Einstien flash units by 8 stops, and increased the ISO to 400 for a combined 10 stop adjustment. I then took another image with the ND filter in place. I imported both images into LightRoom. Using the reference image feature to compare the exposure values. Center values are within 0.5% Edge values are within 3.0% Corner Values are within 6.0% First I can say there is using the M10 holder there is NO corner cutting or gross vignette like I get when stacking round filters. There is a slight magenta cast in the corners, and can be removed with a -2 adjustement to the tint slider. Accurate, effective and glass so it will not distort the way a resin filter can.

Multi coated 10 stop ND filter

Two things to look for in buying a ND filter is price and that the filter is multi coated. The Haida filter is priced much better than similar filters plus most of the other filters are not multi coated. It should be an easy decision

While the Haida NanoPro MC 150x150mm Neutral Density 4000x (3.6) Multi Coated Glass Filter may seem like a mouthful, its features and benefits are straightforward and impressive. This high-quality, durable filter is designed to significantly enhance your photography experience.

Crafted with multiple layers of coating, this versatile filter effectively reduces unwanted reflections and glare, thereby improving image quality and contrast. This multi-coated feature sets it apart from many alternative filters that may only have a single layer of coating or none at all.

The Neutral Density 4000x (3.6) specification of this filter equates to a 12-stop filter, allowing more light into your camera. This feature enables longer exposures or wider apertures in bright conditions, providing you with greater control over exposure compared to filters with lower density.

Intended for use in reducing the amount of light entering your camera lens, this filter allows for the use of a wider aperture and slower shutter speed in low light conditions. The neutral density of 3.6 (12 stops) reduces the light entering the lens by 12 stops, making it an invaluable tool for low light photography.

The Haida NanoPro MC 150x150mm Neutral Density 4000x (3.6) Multi Coated Glass Filter is not only effective but also easy to use. Its rectangular shape, measuring 6" x 6" / 150 x 150mm, ensures a perfect fit for your camera lens.

In conclusion, this filter, manufactured by the reputable brand Haida, is a must-have accessory for any photography enthusiast looking to improve their image quality and gain more control over their exposure settings.
