Works great in the Lexar Workflow HR1 hub. The nice part is that it can also be used on it's own. Included was a USB cable to connect to a laptop or PC. The sad part is Lexar discontinued the Workflow system and the modules. Some modules are still available as this one was on Adorama. Trying to find the SD module is impossible. I shoot Canon cameras, the one uses both an SD and CF card. What I did was change out the SD card for a Micro SD and adapter. So far it works good. This way I can save photos on the CF card in raw and the Micro SD in jpeg. Thank you Adorama for having this module. By the way it came in a sealed box and brand new...

Solid card reader. These Lexar professional readers are some of my favorites. They’re plastic, but don’t feel like they’re about to fall apart. USB 3.0 is plenty fast to max out CF card read speeds.

Don’t buy some crap on amazon, stick to the good old work horses and get it from a known source, I am a pro and don’t even know how I veered off into amazon to but a card reader.

It came in a new sealed box, but the protective reader hood was missing.

I have the Lexar hub with all SD card readers. Recently I've started shooting with the GoPro Hero7 Black and DJI Osmo Pocket. Those combined with my Tascam DR-10L I use several Micro SD cards on any given shoot. So adding this reader to my arsenal was a no brainer and I couldn't be happier with it! Transfer speeds are fantastic and the simple ability to transfer three cards at a time with just one reader has been huge for productivity!

Combined with the Lexar Professional Workflow HR-1 Hub is the fastest and most efficient way to transfer images from the card to your computer system. The HR-1 allows you to download files from up to 4 cards simultaneously.

I like that I can choose to use either USB or Thunderbolt depending on which ports are being used up by hard drives. or other accessories. Since the data transfer limit usually depends on the card being read, there's little difference in speed. I still have a USB 3.0-only version as a backup or to transfer a second card simultaneously as needed.

The Lexar CFR1 CF card reader is an integral part of my workflow. The reader is just one quarter of my Lexar Pro kit. I have the 512gb storage, SD card reader and the Micro card reader all in one space saving assembly.

The product seems to work really well, however, it doesn't seem to be as solid and durable as my Lexar Sd and Cf.

Very convenient and very fast (using thunderbolt). My set up is: C-fast, CF, SDHC and a dual USB reader. This setup is freeing a few USB ports on my Mac computer, uses only one thunderbolt port (can be daisy chained) and adds 2 USB readers. Transfer of pictures from my cameras are done more rapidly and more efficiently. I love it.

I bought the card reader with multiple use for different card and the CF reader get the pins bent after second use. if you need for CF go for this one with reasonable price and work well

Unfortunately, I live in a part of the country where camera gear can only be purchased in box stores. I have had two cheap CF readers die on me in the last year. I decided to spend a little extra and buy a good reader. This one seems great. Comes with a nice case and dust cover. It seems faster and it built to last.

If shooting with multiple cameras such as GoPro's, the UR2 is a must have. It saves so much time importing photos/video. The size is great and speed is great. The only negative for me is that I have short finger nails so removing the cards from the UR2 can be a little difficult but not a deal breaker by any means.

I just purchased a digital camera back that uses a CF card and didn’t have a reader. I had one years ago but wasn’t using it so I gave it away. I’m glad I did because this one has USB 3 which is twice as fast as my other one. I download 63 mg files in seconds. I’m very happy.

I purchased the Lexar CR2 CFast 2.0 Thunderbolt/USB 3.0 card reader, and realized that i CANNOT use it. This card reader is NOT compatible with SDHC/SDXC memory cards; the card slot on this card reader is too wide for the SDHC/SDXC cards. I returned this card reader to Adorama. I have not used / cannot use this card reader, and cannot write about any experience; Adorama is superb in taking back the unused item, and I am also very impressed with the Lexar products.

I've been looking for a way to download multiple Compact Flash cards and this card reader is just what I've been looking for. I love he versatility of being able to use this reader as a stand alone reader plus being able to plug it into my Lexar Professional work flow HR1 four bay hub.
