Good product with some caveats

I bought the Lexar SSD to use while I shoot with my iPhone 16 Pro. While it's a perfectly good product, I found using it a little bit more cumbersome than I expected. If I use the Black Magic camera app for example, it does save videos automatically, neatly and directly to the Lexar, which is good. But if I use the native iPhone camera app, you have to save your media to "Files" manually to then get it to the Lexar. At the end of the day, it seemed simpler to just leave the Lexar at home, and then transfer media later from the photos app. Once done, I would just delete the media from photos to free up space. Again, while it's a fine product, if I were to do it again, I would have simply bought a 4TB SSD and made all transfers at home.
