Great FAA Certified strobe light.

I own this strobe light, and it is great. One charge lasts for many flights. It is light and very bright. My DJI Mini 2 with this light is still under 250 g, so it can be flown without registering the drone with the FAA in the USA. I found this strobe light because it was recommended by a famous drone Youtuber, and I am very satisfied with this product. Also, it uses 3M Dual Lock for attachment, very reliable and easy to use. I have two drones, I bought additional 3M Dual Lock to be able to attach my strobe light to my second drone. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to fly at dusk and at night.

Lume Cube Strobe

Tested the Lume Cube against other leading brand (Firehouse Strobes) and while it is bright the total lumen output is less than the FH brand. There was no documentation to rate at 3SM. As for design they basically copied another leading brands strobe and function (copyright?) but made the critical mistake of having a push on off feature in the lens which makes it turn on and off every time its bumped or stored, the mount with velcro is secure but after a few used as you have to remove to ensure its not turned on accidental, and lens get crushed as it thin plastic. The size fit on small aircraft but only on top, it wont fit arms or legs or on the bottom with the case design. It also is only in white, with the added feature of the lens covers to change colors (green /red) which greatly diminishes its output since now you have two lenses on the unit, the clear and the plastic overlay. The run time is 3 hours less than the one they copied due to the case design. Lastly the price, at 49.99 I can get two of the other strobes in a two pack that have a longer run time, lower profile, dont turn on off off on there own, and have a range of actual colored lights that have greater outout and range, and fit in a myriad of custom mounts made for the DJI products. Thus while its looks pretty it does not deliver on price range and function.
