Used Zacuto Recoil Handle

The Recoil Handle from Zacuto is solidly built and feels great to hold, it really is very nice to grip. I purchased mine to mount to the top of my Sony FS7M2 so I could attach heavy on camera LED lights, batteries and Ultimate arms with security and confidence. The Handle itself looks great on my camera and makes it easy and comfortable to carry a heavy rig. There are two rod attachment points for a variety of accessories and a cleaver locking cold shoe mount. You will need to get a ZRail and a couple of 3/8 to 1/4 screw hole adapters if you plan to use this Handle on an FS7M2. All of the components used in the construction of the Handle are well thought out and feel very well made. I especially like the red metal spring loaded ratcheting levers used throughout the design. Zacuto products are all metal (the Handle has walnut wood hand grips) and look great. I can confirm they look just as good in person as they do in the product photos, the anodised aluminium black and red finish is smooth, shiny and made to last. Purchasing direct from Zacuto was easy, the customer service staff friendly and helpful. International shipping to Australia was very fast and only taking a few days! I can highly recommend the Recoil Handle for professional use.

This product is well built and sturdy. Mounting was easy and straight forward. I had element technica options before, and am much happier with this product. The ergonomics are great and the wood accents are a nice touch.

This Wooden Handle, is one of the most ergonomic and steady ones we have ever used. Allowing you to use in the front or back, you are able to handle all the weight of the camera, accessories and lenses, while making it feel less heavy. We worked in Minus Zero temperatures in the night, and extreme heat in the desert highlands of Argentina at 4500 meters, and the handle always kept the temperatures of my hand. The wood is solid but gentle in your hands. It fastens really quickly, and once is set it won't move! This is great if you want to take the handle out, or change the position in a matter of seconds. Would really recommend it!
