This lens is perfect for my Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k to mount it on my FPV drone. Also this package with accessories is a no brainer. It's the same price as just the lens by itself.

Good cheap wide angle lens. The widest you can find without going Fisheye. Great product, great value. All manual but no biggie with such a wide angle.

This little lens has impressed me with its exceptionally wide field of view and low distortion. Also, it is very sharp at F2 and extremely sharp as you close down which is very important as you can absolutely use the image wide open. I've been using it on my BMPCC 4K and love it!

What a fun little lens. And that's why we continue to use Micro 4/3. Depth of field so great, you can set it 1/3rd into your image and everything is sharp. Image quality is outstanding.

One of the best wide-angle lens in the market for the Micro 4/3 system, especially with a fast f/2. This thing is incredible on my GH5, and if you set the aperture to f/5.6 and the focusing distance to infinity, this is an amazing run and gun lens for interior videos, especially real estate. Only downside is the lack of stabilization, in my opinion.

Lens is amazing for that price, it delivers nice, wide and sharp image. Great for night sky photos landscapes. Only downside is that when you're shooting videi it has a slight vignette, which can be fixed in post

Amazed by the sharpness of this super wide! One of my most used lenses for shooting images of landscapes and gardens. Very pleased with this package!

This is the BEST wide angle lens I've used! I love how wide it is without being a fisheye! It is so incredibly tiny as well- much smaller than I thought! It is easy to use and lightweight- definitely my go-to when travelling now instead of the Canon 10-18. I love the f2 aperture so I can use it lower-light situations too!

I purchase this lens because this lens is only rectilinear wide angle lens below 10mm. I also have Samyang (Rokinon) fisheye at 7.5mm. I think Samyang is much sharper than this lens and at about the 1/2 of the price. What I like about this lens is 1. Shallow dept of field 2. fast lens - works well under low light 3. Close focus distance-work as a Macro lens 4. Smooth focus ring and clicking aperture dial. 5. Filter mount - I have not seen any lens offering removable lens hood and filter thread on any other wide angle lenses 5. Small size - easy to carry around 6. Adorama free kits are very nice - esp lens carrying case (I can use it for my ZWO ASI camera!!!). What I don't like 1. Lens flare - horrible lens flare if you include sun in your picture, unless you intend to have a lens flare- if you want harsh lens flare, it cant get better than this lens. If you cover lens on top with your hand, you can minimize the flare. Hood don't really help. 2. Soft image compared to Samyang 7.5 fisheye 3. Price. This lens costed more than my Nikon 70-200mm VR full frame lens. 2x more than Samyang 7.5mm, 12mm rectilinear lens for M43. or 14mm Rokinon I have for Nikon. 4. Edges are softer and seems to be stretched out at f/2 5. noticeable vignetting at f/2 It's pricey, but if you are looking for versatile rectilinear wide angle at fast speed, I recommend it.

Very pleased with this lens. Obviously take note of its manual focus, but with landscape photography, how often are you ever NOT on infinity? Originally was considering a couple of Olympus M. Zuiko lenses (7-14mm PRO and 12mm prime), but the PRO (which I've used and genuinely love) is 3x as expensive, and the 12mm just isn’t wide enough. Very pleased with this lens, its light weight, its low-light functionality, and overall quality of photos.

Of all the lenses I've used, this is my every day carry one. It's tiny, it's sharp, it has an amazingly wide view. The lens is sharp in center and only gets slightly soft around the edges. There's also a bit of vignetting but that's really quite expected for such a wide lens. The lens is also manual focus only so it's best if your camera has some sort of peeking feature that either highlights focus or allows you to zoom in. Otherwise, keeping it at infinity works for most shots. The only major flaw that I can find is that the lens hood is terribly designed. It does block quite a bit of flare but over time, it works loose and you WILL lose it eventually. Replacements used to be around $ but have now skyrocketed to about $ shipping to the US for the silver hood. Ouch. I lost two hoods and considering that this is a pretty blatent design flaw, I should have gotten at least a discount or one free replacement. No go on that one... My advice, love this lens but loc-tite it to the lens. At the very least attach a lens cap lead to the hood.

The lens is everything that I asked for. It was to be delivered in 1 to 3 business days but got delayed a week. Probably UPS's fault

Overall, the great reviews you read here are true. The wide FOV, relatively good optics, and fast speed all make this an every day carry lens. Since everyone has already gushed about this lens, I'd like to point out a few of it's quirks and issues. 1. There is a fair amount of vignette on this lens. I happen to like the effect so it doesn't bother me much but it is there in bright scenes. 2. The edge clarity, like other super wide lenses, isn't the greatest but this lens is far better than anything else I've tried. It's definately not a deal breaker but it is a tiny bit soft around the extremes. 3. The lens hood is probably the worst part of this lens. While it does a great job of cutting down lens flare, it's terribly designed. I've lost 2 of these on a trip and there's no way to fix how loose it mounts to the lens. It's clearly a design flaw since the metal hood does NOT click into place or lock to the lens like most other lenses out there. My advice: tack it down with a bit of glue because you will eventually lose it. I've called Laowa on the issue, they've passed my comments on but they still want me to buy yet another replacement for a problem they need to fix! Ouch. Despite these minor issues, I would not hesitate to recommend this lens!

This little lens is great for astrophotography and architecture. Very fast for a wide lens. I wish it has autofocus but I don’t mind it.

A beautifully designed, made and packed tiny and lightweight lens with unique focal length/aperture. Destined for MFT system. Would have gladly given 6 stars, if not quality control issues. $ lens must focus to infinity, not past it! In the dark, under the rain in one swift movement, no fine print. If they could it in 1920, why this is a problem 100 years later??? My copy did not... People on Amazon also complained about decentered copies. Buying this lens is a toss. If you get a good copy, you will be in heavens. But make sure you got it from a place with easy return, in case you get a lemon

This lens is exactly what I needed to bring the world of night sky photography to my micro 4/3 camera. These images were taken with a Panasonic GX8 at ISO 200 F2.8 an 120 second exposure using an iOptron Skytracker Pro camera mount. These are processed JPGs.

Great little 7.5mm (15mm 35mm equiv.) for micro four-thirds. Noticably wider than my Olympus 9-18mm. image quality is great, and manual focus easy to use with in-viewfinder magnification. Great for landscapes.

I wanted a fast wide angle lens and thought about buying the Olympus 7-14 Pro lens. But it was over twice the price of this lens and wouldn't take screw on filters. After buying this lens I went into a camera shop and took a couple of pictures using their Olympus 7-14 lens and this one. I could not see any difference in the pictures after uploading the images to my MAC. I do wish that this lens had the electrical contacts and AF, but at less than half the price and the ability to use screw on filters I won't complain too much.

A great lens in a very small package. I made good use of this lens on my recent trip to the Grand Canyon and southern Utah.

Despite the ballyhoo about low barrel distortion, the Venus Laowa 7.5mm still shows noticeable distortion on photos with vertical or horizontal lines. The rectilinear lens appears to make little difference compared to standard lenses at this mm. Consider the Samyang 7.5mm lens (for 4/3) which delivers about the same overall results at less than half the cost. (Yes, you can eliminate much of this distortion on the Laowa with Lightroom, but why pay the extra money when you can do the same with the Samyang?)

This lens is quickly becoming my go-to landscape lens for a few reasons, First, it's wide - really wide. Second, it's tiny. One of the things that got me started with Micro Four Thirds was the size and weight compared to the image quality. This lens pushes that ratios to new levels. Next, it takes filters. It's 46mm filter thread limits the lens to a very thin filter before the corners go dark, but to be honest with a 110 degree field of view it's too wide to use a polarizing filter, so the most common filter used will be a neutral density - those tend to be thin. I've invested in good 72mm filters, so I just use a 46 - 72mm adapter and I don't have to worry about any of this... In testing I can find no faults with my lens, but there is something that's broken free and rattles around in the lens. The other little thing that I find a bit amusing is that while the lens case in the accessory kit is the smallest one, it's way too large. I lined mine with foam pipe insulation - problem solved!

I bought this to replace the Panasonic 7-14 f/4 as my go-to lens for architecture and interiors, while also matching the Olympus 8mm f/1.8 PRO Fisheye for close focus, shallow DOF extreme wide angle work (but with no need for de-fishing). It's more than met my expectations, and the lack of AF is a non-issue for most uses - just set it at f/4 or 5.6, set the focus ring at the infinity mark, and you're good to go. On top of that, it's almost too small - it's dwarfed by any semi-pro m43 body - but you can hardly mark it down for that.
