about the only thing good i have to say: the price was right and since this camera's starting price was in the neighborhood of 70 bucks (not including the GPS module, another 17-18 dollars) you can see why i bought it. 31 and change for both. this camera in one form or another has been around for probably six or more years and until the "S" up-grade no other changes of import have been made. the "S" model met my price and that's the only reason i bought it.

do not waste your money on this camera (VIOFO G1W-S GPS INCLUDED). i bought one thinking that with the addition of a plug-in GPS i would be able to see on-screen things like: MPH and location and maybe even the satellite correct time. not a chance. it turns out you have to subscribe to something or download something. i never found out exactly what i would have had to do but even then i still would have not seen any read-outs of any kind on-screen. not sure exactly how this works, just know that i am extremely dissatisfied with the included GPS part of the camera. the camera by itself works fine. i already have 3 other cameras and all of them are G1W-C models. they all work perfectly in any of my cars. the VIOFO G1W-S camera works just fine but without the GPS module. if you are considering buying one of these i would suggest that you find out everything there is to know about the GPS part of the camera before you buy it. if you can do without the GPS, i would suggest that you consider other models of the same camera: G1W (battery operated) or G1W-C (capacitor operated). both of these work great without the GPS. keep in mind that all of the above is my opinion for whatever it is worth.
