Room for improvement

I use this tripod for product photography as the boom stick is extremely useful for getting overhead shots.Pros:The legs are very easy to adjust and lock into place and the tripod is extremely sturdy. Cons:I would highly recommend buying another ball head for the tripod. It is not the easiest to attach your camera to this tripod and also very difficult to make minor adjustments to angles with the included head. For this price point, I believe the included head should be more functional.

Highly recommended

I replaced a light weight travel tripod with the Vanguard Pro 2+ 263 AT because of it's great design and boom arm. I used it for some long exposure shots of a creek where I had to position over a guard rail and it was easy to adjust and sturdy. The 1/4 turn leg locks are awesome. It's a bit heavy for travel, but the extra pound is worth the stability and versatility. Highly recommended.
