Heavy spotting scope?

I bought a konus spotting scope that weighed over 5and 1/2 pounds. For the shooting range I needed something to handle the weight. This tripod is perfect for that purpose.

Not worth buying

There is no way of locking the legs. It uses a piece of plastic arches to hold up the legs.

wow, great tripod, one con

It is heavy. So is my spotting scope. Can't beat the price for the quality. It does what I need perfectly. Very happy I found it.
