KERRY L : Will this fit a SKT300 tripod?CHARLES M : I don't know the SKT300 tripod. Older Vanguard ballheads and QR clamps use their own plates and are not compatible with ArcaSwiss style plate/clamp. All newer Vanguard ballheads adapted the Arcaswiss style plate. If the SKT300 tripod has an older Vanguard ballhead (The clamp has a red button in front that pulls down a brass pin near the middle of the clamp by the center screw), then this plate (about 1.62 inches wide) will fit. Arcaswiss plate is only 1.5 inches wide. That is why this plate would not fit the more popular Arcaswiss clamp. I switched both my Vanguard ballheads (SBH-100 and SBH-250) to a new Desmond clamp which is Arcaswiss compatible. Hope this help and good luck. BTW, I have two original Vanguard Clamps and five matching plates collecting dusts.
Ken H : Will this Quick Shoe fit the Nivelo tripod series?DAVID B : do not know, however if you measure the thickness and the width of your shoe socket very accurately, within a 1/32 of an inch you should be able to determine this quite easily.TERRENCE P : This quick shoe is not made for any tripod series but rather for the Vanguard 100 series head. So - IF the Nivelo series takes a 100 series head then yes it will fit the Vanguard 100 head ON a Vanguard Nivelo Tripod IF it has a Vanguard 100 series head. But the head from say a Vanguard Nivelo 204PK will NOT take this quick shoe.
jeffrey L : which quick release shoe fits a Nikon compact tripod?THOMAS W G : Hi Jeffrey To the best of my knowledge, each tripod has its own unique quick release shoe. My Vanguard has a bit of an angle to the sides which only fits on the Vanguard tripod, but not with others. SInce the tripod comes with just one quick release shoe, I ordered a spare one for my other camera. This way they are always on the camera base in case I use the tripod. I suggest that you check Nikon's web site for the particular model of tripod you have and order a shoe that will fit the tripod. That should make things work well for you. Best regards Tom

They work great

I ordered additional shoes so I won't need to keep changing on my tele photo lenses. They work great. Staying solid once connected. Vanguard makes great tripods.

You will never be disappointed when ordering your gear from Adorama!

I love having multiple quick release shoes on hand for my Alta! That way I can save the time from having to switch them over from one body/telephoto lenses to the next. The amount of time spent trying to get that one shoe switched over could mean the difference between getting the shot of a lifetime or simply missing that perfect moment! So, I urge you to keep as many of these things on hand, it will be worth it!

Works Well - Extra shoes are good

I bought a couple extra shoes since I have quite a few cameras that I use with my Vanguard tripod. These are very solid and do not slip.

sturdy product

This is a replacement part for a Vanguard Tracker 2 tripod I have. The tripod is pretty heavy but that is the only thing I can complain about. It is a sturdy, easily adjustable tool that handles a good amount of weight and endures some wind. With this specific purchase I was able to get parts for the tripod, which is assuring when you tend to lose things like I do.

It wiggles in the tightest locked position. Not made for Tracker 4...

High quality plate at a great price

I now have 4 of these plates. I just keep them on my 3 camera bodies and 70-200 lens. They grip better than other brand plates I have used.

Not as good as the QS-38

This is the new replacement item and it does not fit tightly in the tri pod. Will keep it as a spare but I am glad I have the original shoe.
