Stone Bag is legit
As a Digi-Tec is always a nice feature to have on set for my photographgers to easily and safetly place their camera when needed.

Vanguard SB-100 Stone Bag
Haven't used it yet but tested on the tripod and fit very well mead very strong should handle weights /stones with no problem :)

Comes in very handy, always on tripod
This is my second one as the first wore out. I prefer this over the competitor because it does not have the 3 separations and it cost less.

Handy to have.
This is a neat idea and for light stabilization it works pretty darn good. They fold up quite small, are not expensive and are worth having about in your kit!

Vanguard Stone Bag
I often take photos that need sturdy heavy tripods, but I can't allow the weight on long trips. Often I have to bring a smaller tripods, and to keep the tripod sturdy I use a bag of stones. The Vanguard Stone Bag is very light and does hold weights that keeps the cameras with heavy lens stable.

A Great Holder of My Gear's Bits and Pieces
Instead of using this stone bag for extra weight, I like having it available to hold various bits and pieces (i.e., lens cap, lens filters, lens cloth and wipes, a cable release, a candy bar, the tripod strap, etc.) during a shoot when using my tripod. Excellent material!

Vanguard Stone Bag
I use tripods with a macro lens. Vibration is big pain. Tripods work best when they are heavy but heavy tripods are not fun to carry. This simple device allows me to add substantial weight to my tripod in the field, using what ever rocks or stuff I can find and not carry that extra weight with me. Makes better macro photos.

Great for Astronomy
I purchased this stone bag not to add mass to a tripod (but it is very sturdy for that purpose) but to add an additional equipment shelf for my Explore Scientific Twilight 1 mount for astronomy. It had a side benefit of making my tripod steadier and I would highly recommend the product

Very Handy - Good Quality
Just what it looks like and no problems at all. Handy pocket for either storing items for a moment while you adjust something upstairs, or, as intended, as a holder for a site local weight like rocks or branches to stabilize the tripod without having to haul sandbags or other weights around. Easy velcro type bands to attach to the legs.
