I habe the spirit xf for me, spirit xf major league bowhunter series for mt daughter 14, and just purchased these spirit ed for my son 17. We are all deer hunters and these are excellent guality and reasonably priced. Crisp and clear and ease of use, great customer service also.

I ordered a pair of Spirit ED 10x42 binoculars. I found the image to be marginally brighter compared to the Steiner 10x42 and Vortex 20x56 binoculars I have. Unfortunately, in day light conditions, the Spirit seemed to have a hazy area near the bottom of the viewing area. --I'm speculating that this was internal reflections or dust inside the binoculars. At night, when looking at bright images like the moon, there was significant "haze" around the image, which was not present in my Steiner or Vortex binoculars. --Maybe I got a bad pair, so I sent them back during the return period. I would have liked to try another pair to see if this was a manufacturing issue, but my scheduled trip didn't allow time for that.

This was one of my best, easiest and quickest purchases! These binoculars are great also, lightweight, easy to adjust! Can’t wait for our next trip to Mexico

The first time I used them I was impressed. The clarity, ease of focus and color all came together. I wear glasses and found them not to be a problem when looking through the lenses. I would highly recommend these to any hobbyist.

I picked these up on sale prior to Christmas. Now, having used them for some time, I'd gladly paid full price. I have had the Vanguard Endeavor (first gen) for over a year and these are comparable for hobbyist use. The new textured grip is great and really works well with gloves on. Optics are bright and crisp edge to edge. Focus is sharp, deliberate and quick. I purchased these for hunting and checking out birds at the feeders. Couldn't be more pleased.

Hard to beat for the cost. Quality glasses that perform quite admirably. Bright, good contrast, and easy focusing. Perhaps a little heavier than I expected, but good glass isn't usually light. The lens covers, both objective and eyepiece, are a bit cumbersome, but no big deal at all. I would recommend them with the exception that some birders may find them heavy after a long afternoon hiking in the woods.

Very clear image when properly focused. Most of my use to date has involved driving around and scouting for animals. My use involves a lot of binocular pick-up, area survey, then either put on my lap or the center consul, drive a little further, and repeat the process. Nearly every use requires a slight adjustment to the focus. This prevents me from giving a 5 rating.
