It's now my favorite monopod. The three feet at the bottom make it well worth any extra cost. Though light, it's a very stable platform for a monopod.

Lightweight monopod with three feet can be used in lieu of a full tripod if the camera is small and light if you want to let it free stand. If the camera is heavy I would not trust leaving it free standing with only the three legs. For me I use it to hold a GoPro which is perfect for it.

nice unit, seems secure, like the tilting legs, just wish it was rated for a little more weight

Feet make it a bit bulky for storage but in use they are great!

It works. But not flawlessly. First time out bottom leg section came completed detached from monopod. And the twist to tighten the sections is only ok. Once you get all that worked out it will stand and hold your camera.

I am disappointed. First, my Manfrotto head does not fit it, so I can't tilt my camera for sky photography (which is my favorite subject). It also feel flimsy when fully extended.

Very good piece of equipment. I used it a couple of days ago in low light church wedding. The only downside, it's a bit heavier than I imagined it would be.

Sturdy but light. Easy to unfold and adjust. Only 4 because when the thinnest leg is all the way out ot loses a little sturdiness

I bought this monopod from Vanguard because I really enjoy my Vanguard Alta Pro Tripod. I appreciate the affordability of this monopod, as I do not need anything more rugged at this time. It is well made, and is comfortable to carry and position. It doubles as a walking stick but the feet stick out some when folded so it's just a little awkward. The feet are plastic so I am mindful to be gentle with them. I use this mostly with prime lenses up to 300mm mounted on a Nikon D810 and it gives good stability, I would use something heavier duty for anything longer, though. I do not use very heavy lenses, nor do I do very rugged hikes so this is a good choice for me.

Feet make it a bit bulky for storage but in use they are great!
The Vanguard VEO 2 AM-264TR is one of the most lightweight, compact portable monopods with foldable feet. This monopod is great for shooting photo or video and the added feet allow you to have increased stability and functionality while maintaining a small footprint. Mount your camera directly on to the monopod or if desired add a small ball head or compact video pan head.
The 1/2" turn lock/unlock leg locks allow easy quick set-up and height adjustments so you can shoot at any level. The added caribiner and wrist strap make moving from location to location fast and effective. An excellent monopod to use everywhere or in the field when a tripod is not allowed!
