Solid mono pod

It feels very good in hand and lightweight. I wish it was little smaller when fully folded. Also a plate of some kind or a easy tightening screw would have been useful as this required your camera to rotate which may scratch the camera base, that?s why gave it 4 star instead of 5.

Well made and fun to use.

Light and well made. Fun to use. A great hiking monopod. Not the most robust unit I have but it is the one I use the most due to compactness, lightness and ease of use.

Usually I have buyers remorse...

I scooped this monopod up on a crazy deal for $39.99, and just got it. I haven't even used it yet, but I took it out of the box and immediately felt the opposite of buyers remorse... ?? It's VERY small when it's not extended, the leg locks only require maybe 1/4 of a turn to extend the legs, and they feel very solid. The foot comes up or down to expose a spike that you may or may not want to use depending on the environment. I don't know what else to say about it but I do feel like I got a great deal on this and for those of you who are looking at it at the regular $99 price, I can tell you that seems about right based on the quality I'm seeing. It looks and feels like it's worth a hundred bucks to me, easy.

Lightweight superstar

I love this monopod. It is so well balanced it almost stands up by itself and light as a feather. The adjustable foot helps adapt to different terrains and surfaces to give a good grip. I also love the over height available in this compact design to provide a real eye-level perspective for our shots! The small carabiner allows it to clip to most any pack easily and quickly. I would definitely recommend this product.

About Vanguard VEO 2 CM-264

The Vanguard VEO 2 CM-264 is one of the most lightweight, compact, portable, carbon fiber monopods with an anti-slip ball type convertible rubber spiked foot. This monopod is great for shooting photo or video and the ability to change the convertible rubber spiked foot gives you additional flexibility for all types of terrain.

Mount your camera directly on to the monopod or if desired add a small ball head or compact video pan head and secure in place by using the 3 set screws. The 1/2" turn lock/unlock leg locks allow easy quick set-up and height adjustments so you can shoot at any level. A comfortable rubberized grip provides extra comfort while shooting in cold or extreme conditions. The added carabiner and wrist strap make moving from location to location fast and effective.
