Find myself using this bag often, I like the ability to carry a small tripod in the bag

I own the Vanguard Havana 36 Shoulder Camera Bag, Khaki and Brown. I really like it and I thought I'd purchase the Vanguard VEO 37 Shoulder Bag thinking it had more room for another camera (Canon 7D) and lens that I own plus additional accessories. The bag is well made and has room for a travel tripod but that's it. The top compartment actually seems to have less room than the Havana 36. If you're looking to use it for a smaller DSLR and lenses, it would be a great bag.

This is a great bag. It's well made and even when it's not on sale, it's still a very good value. If you own one of the Vanguard VEO travel tripods, you're definitely going to want to own one of these. The tripod fits perfectly in the bottom compartment, while the main upper compartment handles a full-sized DSLR, a couple zooms, and miscellaneous equipment, like a light meter or flash. Other pockets are great for filters and smaller items. Very nice for travel or spending the day out shooting wherever - city streets, the beach, the countryside.

The VEO bag is great for a day out and about taking photos. I carry both a light weight tripod and a monopod in the lower compartment, and have plenty of space up top for camera and extra lens.

On the positive side, the Vanguard VEO-37 is a well-made bag and that comes with several accessories including a rain cover, padded hook & loop pocket separators, and what looks to be a small tripod bag with a draw cord, and a small zipper case that also comes with some padded separators. (For extra lenses I presume) Another nice feature is the ability to place a small tripod or long camera lens in the bottom of the bag from a side access zipper without having to pull everything out of the bag from the top. There are places to attach straps on the bottom of the bag to attach the tripod when the bag compartment holds a telephoto, and are included with the bag. There are pockets both outside and inside that would probably hold a tablet or small laptop. There is also a zippered pocket on one side to hold batteries, memory cards and other small accessories. On the negative side, there is no pamphlet or sheet to show examples of setups for the bag, so you're on your own. Normally probably wouldn't be a problem except the interior only has a full panel down one side for connecting hook & loop padded separators and/or the tripod/telephoto lens separator insert. The other side of the bag only has a couple of narrow hook & loop strips to connect them to, making it kind of tricky trying to sectioning off spaces for equipment. As I said, the bag also comes with a small zippered case, presumably for extra lenses, flash or other equipment. The problem with it is, because of its size, it will only fit in the bay one way, and that's with the support cover for the tripod/telephoto lens section removed. Then it's just a big bag with a smaller bag inside with a lot of wasted space. Without directions, I'm not sure what they had in mind with that. In my opinion, there are many more camera bags available out there that are more easily adjusted to fit equipment and more functionally useful.

I think it would have been useful not to have the grey strap going around the outside of the bag completely sewn along the edge so other small equipment bags could be attached if needed. In my opinion, there are many more camera bags available out there that are more easily adjusted to fit equipment and more functionally useful.

You can get a lot of gear in this bag if you remove the padded insert. I have mine loaded with a tripod, 70d, two lenses, and all the filters and accessories for a day of shooting. Makes it a little heavy but the bag carries well. It could use a couple more exterior pockets.
