About Vitec MGW Diamond
An innovative and advanced MGW Diamond Dual-Channel Full HD 1080p HEVC & H.264 Encoder, this compact yet powerful device is designed for high-quality, efficient video encoding in field-based applications. With its robust encoding engine, it can output up to eight streams simultaneously, making it a reliable solution for multichannel applications where stringent size, weight, and power (SWaP) characteristics are required.
This durable encoder offers the best SWaP per HEVC encoding channel on the market, capable of capturing up to 4x 3G/HD/SD-SDI or Composite inputs and streaming live up to 8 channels. This versatility addresses a wide range of applications within sports, enterprise, defense, and surveillance markets.
Prepared for Ultra High Definition, the MGW Diamond can capture and stream 4K60p video from either its 4x3G-SDI or 12G-SDI inputs. It features Time-Synchronized Playback, ensuring perfect synchronization of multiple independent IP streams for applications such as house of worship, remote production, or any live event where IP streams must be played back in sync.
For data-sensitive applications, the MGW Diamond supports KLV / STANAG metadata ingest from various sources (SDI, IP or Serial), real-time image cropping and video scaling, Forward Error Correction (FEC) streaming, and JITC compliant output streams. This makes it an ideal tool for delivering any type of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) or Situational Awareness (SA) video generated by ground vehicles, manned or unmanned airborne platforms, and marine vessels.
In addition, the MGW Diamond boasts real-time AES decryption capabilities, offering secure and reliable audio processing. This dual-channel full HD 1080p HEVC & H.264 encoder is designed to provide efficient and secure video processing, making it a top choice for professionals in the field.
