This ultra-compact, micro-travel tripod is the epitome of portability, strength, and stability, making it an essential tool for any photographer or videographer on the go.
As part of the innovative Legends range from 3 Legged Thing, the Ray tripod boasts not just one, but three detachable legs. These can be conveniently used as monopods or boom arms, adding versatility to your shooting experience. When the legs are removed, Ray transforms into a handy table-top tripod with the addition of 3LT's specialized tripod footwear.
Constructed from eight layers of 100% pure carbon fiber and aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the Ray tripod is designed to withstand the rigors of travel and outdoor use. Its new design features robust leg and column locks, ensuring your equipment stays secure and steady.
The Ray tripod also introduces the new O-Pads, providing users with improved grip, leverage, and water displacement. Internally, the locks have been engineered with a unique design of Chicken Lips (shims) for enhanced strength and grip.
The tripod also features 3LT's new Rapid Latch, an anodized metal leg latch with an auto-engage lock, used to open and position Ray's legs and release them for counter-folding.
The Ray tripod comes with the stunning new AirHed Vu, an Arca-Swiss compatible ballhead, and QR-Octa quick release plate. The AirHed Vu features contoured security cut-outs in the detachable clamp to accommodate security pins in the underside of the QR-Octa plate. It also includes a vision panel in the casing, allowing users to see the mechanism move into place.
