G T : can I use this on a handgun?JOHN R : No. Get a X5L, that is designed for a handgun with a rail. This has a corded remote switch that works great on a long gun.CHARLES S : You can if it has a rail on it, but save your money...I put mine on, zeroed it in, and the next time I went to the range it didn't work anymore.

great light and bright laser

Added to home defense rifle. Rapid target acquisition,easy to switch modes,seems well made. Not sure about the strobe function, seems a little disorienting even for the shooter.
