Questions & Answers

THOMAS W : Will the Medium Pro work with a Nikon D7100 and the Nikon 18-200mm zoom lens?CRAIG A : YesWALTER B : I think it will. Measure the total length of your camera with the lens fully extended. I have a D80 camera with a Nikon 18 - 300 mm lens, and it works with my camera.CHRIS S : I used it with a Canon 7d and 70-200mm zoom lens. It worked great. Kept my gear dry in heavy rain. Pull cords did a good job keeping it in place on front of lens. It covered rear of camera, but if rain was blowing it could hit rear screen of body. But overall, a good product.ANTONIA H G : I haven't used this yet. I have a Canon 50D with a 300mm lens.JONATHAN H : I don't have that camera/lens combination. But the cover works with a Sony alpha 7 and the 24-240mm lens. I would measure the depth with the lens on the camera to see if the cover would fit.MICHAEL R : worked fine with my 7000 nikon.Must be careful with longer lens,I let mine slip a little and got some rain on the end of my lens.My fault not the product. hope this helps.WAYNE L : Yes it will fit with probably room to spare.MICHAEL M : I have the d7000 with the 18-200 lens- fits fineAPPLEBY C : I do not use Nikon but have used the medium Pro on both a Canon 6D with a 28~105 "L" glass lens and a Canon 7D with a Tamron 28~300. The rain jacket worked well on both cameras.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?JERRY S : It appeared to be good quality ant a moderate price as a giftJAMES H : Rain season baby!Geraldine D : christmas presentTAMMY M : It came highly recommended by a friend who has one and she loves it.sharon s : Seems like it will fit my needs at a reasonable price.

Easy to use

It does what it is supposed to do (keep your camera dry) and is easy to use. Some of the other rain covers with sleeves seem too complicated. This one just slides over and if you need to use a tripod collar the entire bottom is Velcro so you can open it at any point. Good price, easy to use, just get it.

Every camera bag needs one

It doesn’t take up much room in your camera bag and adds no extra weight, if you take pictures outside it will help to keep your camera safe. It isn’t fancy and really doesn’t look like much but it has protected my camera on many days when the weather didn’t cooperate. I won’t be without it. I have also purchased them for family members and friends. Wise investment!

Stood up to storms

First time using this product was on a trip to Ireland, where we got caught in some massively heavy rains in some of the high hill country there. This storm jacket allowed me to shoot in the storm and kept the camera body safe. I was pleasantly surprised at just how much peace of mind it offered me, and it sure passed quite a test. I found it fairly easy to maneuver my hands inside the jacket as well to change the settings I needed to. Thanks for making this, guys!

See above.....,

It's ok, but entirely like a big bag for my 5dmkiii and 17-40. Next time I'll buy canon brand....

Good Value for the Cost

The cover is light weight and takes very little space. The cost is nominal, so a reasonable value. It is a bit difficult to use but manageable for static subjects.

It does what it is supposed to do (keep your camera dry) and is easy to use. Some of the other rain covers with sleeves seem too complicated. This one just slides over and if you need to use a tripod collar the entire bottom is Velcro so you can open it at any point. Good price, easy to use, just get it.

Pro Storm Jacket Camera Covers are the most compact and portable camera protection you can carry with you everywhere you go . . . so you won't hesitate to use it anytime the camera is going to get wet, dirty, or sit in the sun. They are perfect for live shots setups, locker room celebrations, shooting in rain, drizzle, snow, and dusty or dirty environments.

They aren't meant to replace heavy-duty covers and rain slickers costing hundreds of dollars when you really need that level of protection. Pro Storm Jackets can be slipped on and off in less than 5 seconds, which means you'll actually use them when you'd otherwise just let the camera get wet because you didn't want to struggle with a bulky cover.

When you're done with it, just shake it off, stuff it back into its zippered case, and shove it in a pocket. The cover and case together only weigh about 2-5 ounces depending on the model.

The Medium size (recommended for most customers) works well for short lenses up through 300-400mm f/2.8. Measure your camera/lens from the rear of the body to the front of the lens. If it's 7"-15", this is the cover for you.

The Large size is built for very long lenses. Measure your camera/lens from the rear of the body to the front of the lens. If it's 14"-23", this is the cover for you...but, you might want to get a smaller size to go with it.

The XL xtra Large size is built for extra long len ses. Measure your camera/lens from the rear of the body to the front of the lens . If it's 14"-27", this is the cover for you...but, you might want to get a smal ler size to go with it.

The XXL xtra Xtra Large size is built for extra extra long lenses. Measure your camera/lens from the rear of the body to the front of the lens. If it's 14"-31", this is the cover for you...but, you might want to get a smaller size to go with it.

The PRO ModeL is very similar to the Standard Model, except it adds a velcro opening on the bottom to accommodate the attachment of a tripod or monopod. Then velcro can be closed to make a very water resistant seal. This opening on the bottom also makes it easier to focus your lens manually. NOTE: PRO Models do not come in the small size, and are only available in Black and Camo colors.
