The Velbon CX-586/F 3-Section Aluminum Tripod with 2-Way Fluid Head is a lightweight tripod designed for use with smaller to medium-sized video cameras. The tripod weighs only 3.9 lb and offers a maximum load capacity of 12 lb. The 2-way panhead features fluid-effect movement and a pan bar with four possible positions, so you can follow the action while your movements stay smooth and steady.

With the three aluminum leg sections and the geared center column extended fully, the CX-586/F reaches a maximum height of 59.8". The assembly folds down to just 24.4" for easy transport. The leg stages feature flip locks for easy locking and unlocking.

The 2-way panhead of the CX-586/F allows independent adjustment to tilt and pan positions. It comes with a QB-5RL camera plate, which is longer than typical quick-release plates designed for still cameras. The plate features a video pin and a 1/4"-20 screw.
