Excellent Table Top Tripod

This Velbon Mini CX is awesome. It has a teriffic height for table top pics. It has excellent adjustability and stability. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also, I am very pleased with Adorama and the way they handled my purchase from order to delivery. Nice job Adorama!

Very Good product.

I use this product for my spotting scope. Like the portability. This product is sturdy yet light, collapsible to about 11". like the quick release. This might be streching it but vertical adjust handle should be able to adjust for left and right handed allowing the spotting scope to be placed on my right or left.

Nice little thing!

I wanted a very small tripod to take with me during trips etc. (Just put it in my backpack). This one is a bit too big for that (Which does not mean it's bad!) I just made a mistake. I recently bought a Sony A77 with vertical grip (Heavy stuff) so I needed a strong Tripod….. well this one does take care of that. Very strong and flexible in its movements. For people with a heavy camera and a bit more space in their backpack a very good deal!

A good product for medium weight DSLR

A good tripod, compact size (not tiny). I will be using this indoors, over a table or a chair. It's size is perfect in places where a full tripod would be awkward to use.

Decent bang for the buck.

I do a fair number of small-object and jewellery table-top light-tent catalogue shots and needed a mini tripod for that. Most minis, though, lack sideways tilt--the Velbon has it and that's the reason I bought it. On the down side, it's not as strongly built as some tripods, but that's not a big issue. A more important issue is that the tilt tends to droop when I use heavy lenses. But, for what I paid for the thing, it does a good job.

I bought this product specificly for shooting wildlife from a dresser-top in my motorhome. Works perfectly

The Velbon CX-mini is extremely compact and is designed for use with SLR cameras, compacts and smaller camcorders. When folded it is just 30cm in length, but extends to a useful 64cm, so it can be used as a table top model or from ground level. It can be carried everywhere as part of a camera outfit - ready for use at a moment's notice. The CX-mini has 3 section legs with quick locks and centre bracing for maximum stability. It features a 3 way panhead with quick release platform and a lockable sliding column for precise adjustment.
