Great tripod for the amature
I've had my DF-60 for about 8 years now, and I have never needed/wanted any other tripod. It is very stable, even when fully extended (including when the head is fully raised). I have used it for Video, 35mm, and now with my DSLR and HDV cam. I think it is a great price for a great product.

The DF series is a DUAL FUNCTION tripod designed for use as both a photo and video tripod. The panheads feature a suregrip pan/tilt control handle positioned on the left side for easy access to main camera controls. The leg assemblies all feature 3-section tubular aluminum legs, radial leg brace for extra stability and convenient tripod setup. Quick side-lever leg locks for easy leg adjustments. All black matte professional finish.
