Sturdy, well made and lightweight

This is an excellent tripod. I use it for undergrad portraits. The crank is a little flimsy but not too terrible. The geared action is smooth even with 15lbs of camera and lens. Highly recommend.

Velbon GEO N840 3-Section Carbon Fiber Twist Collar Locking Legs Tripod

Fantastic tripod. I'm blown away, have only had Gitzo. The leg diameter and Twist collar locking legs are easily unlocked and vice a versa. Reasonably light, wouldn't recommend for traveling but perfect for working. The only thing I would like changed is the "flimsy" crank handle. I can see it breaking off if not handled carefully.
