Recommended: Tall, sturdy and light-wei

I have now used this monopod for a number of outings. I have it loaded with about 10 pounds of camera and lens. It is holding up well. It is light-weight for carrying but provides a sturdy rest. One of the reasons I purchased this item is because it extends up to 65.7", a feature I have found useful in steep or swampy terrain. I would recommend this monopod to any of my friends.

Very Nice

Opens high enough for a 6'6" dude to not have to bend over to view.,,, Strong support even fully extended. Ain't cheap, But, You get what you pay for

The Velbon GEO E-64 professional monopod has the all the features that a professional will require. This monopod is completed in black with section leg and lever locks. The locks defend Velbon monopod from being closing downward when weighty apparatus is located on it.

The leg tip is enclosed within rubber to guard indoor exterior from grazes. The leg diameter is 28 mm that add steadiness to the monopod. The superior section of the monopod is enclosed with foam grips for the fortification of your hands in severe weather. The monopod arrives complete with a hand strap that facilitates you in managing the monopod on the way.
