GREAT product!
This a great product at an amazing price!
I'm no pro, but find myself using my tripod quiet often and this was a perfect replacement for the original. It's sturdy, light, has a large knob for tightening and loosening, and best if all it's relatively thin! I usually leave this on my d5100 just in case I need to get it on the tripod quick.

Works great....
I knew it was not as pictured above. That is not a problem with me though. Works great with tripod and all my cameras including my camcorder.

Fits like a glove
The picture of the product appears to have a rubber base but the material is acually cork...I do not plan on using it in the rain so I don't see a problem there. However, I was thrilled to find the missing piece to my tripod and Adorama had the best price on a hard-to-find item. The item was delivered with lightning speed during the Holiday season and I would purchase from Adorama in the future.
