Velbon Ultra MAXi Mini Aluminum Tripod with QHD-51Q Ball Head

The Velbon Ultra MAXi Mini Aluminum Tripod with QHD-51Q Ball Head is an excellent support for a DSLR or other camera for low-angle photography, table-top use, or other situations that demand a flexible, professional support but not a whole lot of height.

The sturdy little tripod reaches a maximum height of 18.8" when its five aluminum leg sections and two center column sections are fully extended. That might not sound like a lot for a five-section tripod, but consider that its folded length is a very tight 7.7".

Featuring Velbon's patented Trunnion Shaft system, the Ultra MAXi Mini tripod has only one twist lock per leg - each section collapses fully into the section immediately above it, resulting in the optimal ratio between extended length and folded length. One twist unlocks the entire leg and a second twist locks it.

The included QHD-51Q ball socket head attaches to the tripod via a standard 1/4"-20 threads. Constructed of die-cast aluminum, the head includes a QB-3B quick-release plate. A single knob enables the unlocking and locking of the ball head's pan and tilt movements.
