Santindra S : Will this tripod easily carry a 7D with a canon 100-400L lens?BARBARA M : Hi I have a 7D and I not only use the 100-400L lens with no problems. I also use it with a 300mm and extended attachment. You just have to make sure that the tripod is securely on the ground. I also always keep my camera strap around my neck, just in case. Accidents DO happen. Hope this helpsANDREW R : In theory yes, however the camera and the lens together weigh nearly 5 lbs. Any extra equipment will add additional weight, I'd highly recommend moving up to something with a bit more capacity.

GREAT ITEM EVERYBODY NEED ONE

Great addition to anybody's gear bag. Not as light as a carbon fiber one would be ,but very well built and seems to be lighter weight than other tripods of like abilities. Have no trouble attaching EOS RP with 24-240 rf lense , easy to control and obaine shots desired.
