Wonderful customer service
Not often do I write reviews. Today I purchased scope rings at Cabela's and was given the wrong size. I called and spoke with Mike and he quickly resolved the problem, sent me to Sara who was also lovely and very helpful. They sent me new rings overnight and a call tag for the wrongly given rings from Cabela's. Very helpful and very pleasant. Customer service is one of the most important parts of a business and they're amazing.This is why I use all vortex products. TY much I love my diamondbacks I use religiously.

Awesome Turrets on an Amazing Scope
Picked this up a few days ago and had the chance this morning to go to the range and zero it in. This would have to be the easiest scope that I have ever zeroed in. The turrets are positive in their feel and nice and audible, after dialling her in, it was as simple as gently pulling the turrets up and returning them to zero. Box test completed @ 100, dialling 4moaL, 8moaU, 8moaR, 8moaD, and finally 4moaL. The scope performed excellent and returned to zero. The scope is packaged with a lens cloth, lens covers, and Vortex VIP warranty.

Easy to use
Great quality, easy to use, adjustments easy to operate and read. Only issues is magnification adjustment is a bit stiff, was looking for a throw lever but only available from aftermarket suppliers.

Perfect beginner scope
The scope is the perfect beginner scope. It is crisp and clear. It has plenty of adjustment to help you get out to 1000 yards. I have used it many times to get to 1000 yards with my 6.5 Creedmoor. I have been pleased with how the Turrets track. The clicks are solid and smooth. The scope is very rugged and can take heavy of use. And you just can’t be vortexes warranty.

Worth every penny
I bought this scope for my Remington bolt action .308. The scope suits this caliber super well and tracks like a dream. I paired it with some Vortex tactical scope rings and some defender flip caps. This scope is pretty rugged but just Incase you do anything too it the vortex warranty has got you covered. The price is what attracted me to this scope and it can certainly match up to scopes two or three times as expensive. If you are looking for a low cost but high value scope look no further.

Great scope for the price!!
Purchased my DB Tac to mount on a 6.8 SPC AR that I built specifically to hunt hogs. It has proven itself several times with no exceptions. I’m not the type to baby my equipment, and this scope has held up to everything I’ve thrown at it so far, including the gun bouncing out of the back of a side by side. Still holding center, turrets are smooth, and glass is very clear. Can even use at night with a green light and see clearly.

Easy to use
I got this scope a few months ago and I've been very satisfied with the product. It was easy to zero and holds its zero. Put down 2 yotes with it within a week.

Great scope for the price!
Bought this scope for my 18in 223 wylde and could not be more pleased! Straight out of the box I was grouping 1/2in at 100. Sight in is stupid easy with the turrets and being able to re-zero by just pulling up the turret.

For the money you’d be dumb not to.
I don’t really see anything in this price range even competing with this line of scopes. Glass is good turrets are great reticle is user friendly and the warranty is unbelievably.

Best Scope I've Ever Bought
This is the first medium priced scope I've bought and man am I glad I did. They say, "what you pay for is what you get", and this is worth every penny. The tactical turrets are the coolest. Field adjustments can be set back to zero in a flash. Probably the nicest 3-9 on the market.

Awesome scope for the price.
I mounted this scope on a 5.56 at work. Last Saturday at the range hit a 10x12 plate at 850 yds from a 40 foot elevation. Easy to zero and some of the clearest optics I've ever seen.

Loving it so far... tomorrow is the real test.
Just mounted my DB Tactical 3-9x40 (SFP) this morning. Looks great. Can't wait to get it on the range tomorrow. Appears to be a quality scope with nice, tight tolerances. Love the VRM-1 MOA reticle. Also purchased the optional 4" sunshade. The pic is with the sunshade on. Turrets are nice and easily visible for an old man like me. I love everything about this scope so far. Will get it in the ballpark with a laser bore sight tonight, then head to the range tomorrow. Feeling proud to be a new member to The Vortex Nation! Thanks Vortex!!!

Meh. Hoped it was more.
I’ve had this scope over a year now. And I had such high hopes for it. It’s sat on a 223 bolt action during this time. My biggest complaint is the Field of View is horrendously barrow. It’s like looking through a toilet paper roll. If I could I would have returned it but I tried for so long to like it that I ran the time out to do it. Now I have to send it back to vortex due to it falling apart.
Optical clarity is decent, if you can get over the black ring around the picture. The turrets seem to be functional, and of course the VIP warranty which unfortunately I must use now. My opinion is save your money, and buy he Diamondback HP or one of the higher tiered scopes. I now have to try and sell this once I get it back just to buy the Viper HS 2.5-10 that I had originally wanted.

World class optics
Bought this having owned a viper pst. This is as clear and bright.perfect for my .223.Vortex are the only glass anyone should consider.corrections made through the turrets are perfect.field of view bright clear with a precise reticle for hold overs in second focal plane.easily zeroed turrets with no need for a tool.vortex are the only optics I will ever purchase.I've recommended to family and friends.this is my second vortex but not my last. I'm in the military and have shot long range with other top end optics but vortex far exceeds them and with a realistic price tag to match. One word to describe vortex , , , precision !!!!!

Great Deal
I bought this scope as a “fill in scope” before i could save up for a scope i really wanted, because this was on sale. The clarity of the scope was very impressive. It didn’t take long to dial in the ruger 270. I no longer think this is a fill in bit a main stay to obe of my favorite rifles.

Awesome optic for the price!
Finally got a chance to take out the rifle to a 700 yd range using .300 AAC subsonic blackout with a 16" upper. Sounds crazy right? Well using data, I dialed in the numbers for drop and I was impressed! Hits after hits at 500 yds!

Best Scope for the Money
I use this scope on my National Match M1A and it performs flawlessly. I used to have a scope that cost twice as much from another manufacturer on the rifle, but wanted to try the Diamondback Tactical out. I was thrilled with the quality at this price. I would highly recommend this scope for all kinds of applications.
