I bought this for my Howa 1500 6. 5 Creedmoor. The quality and features for the price is unmatched. As far as scopes go, it's the best decision I have ever made. I highly recommend it to someone who wants a lower prices scope that doesn't sacrifice features and quality.

I bought this scope in 2020 for my Diana 350 Magnum air rifle, which has a strong recoil. It was on that rifle for almost 800 rounds without issue. I then put it on my PCP and it lasted almost four years without issue. Unfortunately, during a competition, my rifle fell off the shooting bench and hit the sight. The sight continued to work, but the point of impact had shifted internally. So, I contacted Vortex, and they sent me a new scope completely free of charge. I live in Ecuador, Latin America, and surprisingly, their warranty worked even outside the United States. I am very happy with my new Vortex Diamondback Tactical 5-24x50 FFP scope. I will always recommend this brand.

Very solid with lots of adjustment and the ffp is perfect for me. I have two 6x24 diamondbacks and just ordered a third. I put them on the rifles I shoot the most, my Kimber 22rf and Fx Impact M3. Turrets are easily set to zero, glass is good and the full height and width moa crosshairs fit my needs perfectly.

I put this scope on my Howa 1500 in 6. 5 Creedmoor. For a budget scope, this is easily the best one that I have ever owned. I love the range finding feature. Even though I have never had to use the VIP warranty, it looks like the best warranty for any brand of scope.

This scope is very clear and easy to zero and reset. The little details really set it apart, like the tiny gap in the middle of the crosshair, so at great distance you're not covering your target. Fantastic scope, and even better customer service.

This is a hardcore beast at this price point! My wife uses this on her 300 blackout. We've ran this scope the distance! Very clear glass with ffp adjustments, has been a great tool for her n the kids! Ran hard with no issues! Because?. It's a VORTEX!

Scope is crystal clear and holds its zero. Bad wind moved in during a hunt. Tree limb fell, knocked rifle out of its rest and rifle fell over 20 feet to the ground. Scope held its zero perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

The scope is great I like the reticle. The scope went on a Winchester model 70 chambered in a 300 win mag. The main problem I have with it is it's hard to get and keep the full view threw the scope

This is the best warranty I have ever seen, I damaged one and they replaced it for me even though it was my fault. I over torqued it and they still replaced it. I will be a loyal customer now. I've replaced my Leopold and I will never go back. They're (Leopold) customer service blow's and I will never deal with that hassle again. If you want a great product and great service, you're in the right place.

This scope is reliable, sturdy, and easy to use! I am new to the world of guns and hunting. I bought a Savage Arms 6.5 Creedmoor and was struggling to hit my targets. I bought this scope and despite having limited knowledge I was able to dial it in myself and I can now easily hit targets up to 300 yards! I am told that I should be able to hit targets even farther out, but I have not yet had the opportunity. The fact that this scope comes with a lifetime warranty allows me to confidently carry and use my gun out in the woods because I know that if I were to accidentally damage it, I can send it in and receive a new one. That being said, these scopes are very sturdy! I confirmed this when I was unloading the trunk of my car after a camping trip, and I left my gun in its case sitting behind the car. My fiancé, having thought I had finished unloading it all, backed the car up right over my gun. The gun case was destroyed, my gun stock had begun to crack, but the scope both looked and has continued to work perfectly despite having run directly over it. I highly recommend this tactical scope!

This is a great FFP scope. I mounted it on a Savage Precision 6.5 Creedmoor. Does the job nicely holds zero and adjustments seem to be true.

Vortex Diamondback 6-24X50 FFP (MOA) fits the unique requirements for an airgun scope. I have this scope mounted on an Air Arms TX200 and a RWS 54 air rifle. I use theses two rifles for Field Target matches and target practices in my backyard. The Diamondback is a very good scope for my needs. I wanted to buy a more expensive model, but finding a scope that can focus down to 10 yards with this power range and FFP is hard to find. The first focal plane feature allows me to use the scope's variable power settings at different power without affecting the sight in zero and range estimation. The parallax adjustment at 24x is precise enough to match my tape measurer within my tolerance for equipment and user's error. This gives me the confidence to use the appropriate range zero to engage my targets accurately. The reticle is very usable for holding over and under to hit at different distances. It is detailed enough without excessive features to make it cluttered. I live and shoot in the Pacific Northwest and light conditions are typically overcasts and dark. Even with the non-illuminated reticle at 16x, I was able to clearly see my targets and the reticle. At this setting, I have an accurate aiming point even out at the maximum 55yard distance where I shoot FT matches. There is a compromise at the lowest power of 6x. The reticle at 6x is very thin, making precision aiming on small targets difficult. The optic quality is not as good as the higher tiered Vortex line like the Viper and Razor. However, for the intended use of this scope, it is more than good enough. I can only tell the difference when I have those scopes side by side under very controlled conditions. Last but not least is the fact these two scopes have survived two season of shooting thousands of rounds. After these many iterations of harsh reverse recoil from piston power airguns, they are still fully functional. Although not advertised as airgun scopes, they certainly are capable for that task. Good Job Vortex? keep supporting us shooters with great tools.

Got my Diamondback a few years ago and put it on a Ruger American 10/22, ya over scoped. 3 months ago I went to a 300 yard 22lr shoot. Even with a plinker I scored in the top of the bottom 1/3. Since then I mounted the scope on a CZ 457 MTR. Reports on how I score coming soon.

I bought this optic because of what I had heard about the brand. Had the optic dial in 7 shots. Didn't take long to fall in love with this optic. Highly recommend this one. I plan on buying atleast one more like it

The only thing that could make this scope better is if it was illuminated, I don't know why it isn't but that's it

I bout this scope with my Savage 6.5 Creedoor, and I've shot two deer, a badger, and eight coyotes. This scope has me thinking, did Vortex combine binocular settings, with a sope? Either way this scope is awesome.

20+mile crosswinds on a tier 1 rifle. Lowlight or high noon uncloudy conditions. You don't need more scope. If you need more scope, it's not the scope.

I got this scope six months ago for my PRS 308 win and have been very impressed with it so far. The build and glass quality is excellent and it?s tracks nicely. The turret clicks are solid but easy to move. My only gripe is the lack of a zero stop, but that?s a pretty minor gripe when you look at the you get for minimal $$$.

Works the way it's advertised, easy, acuratly, solidly with fast repeatable settings.Sharp recticles in standard MOA graduations. I had a 1" DB tactical for years on a varmit rifle have since added two 30mm 6-24x50's DB Tacticals to other rifles. They work the price is very reasonable for the quality. One happy shooter here, I have seen and used others, for X3 the price.

When this scope sits perfectly on your rifles scope mounts it is a perfect combination and it doesn't matter what rifle. The clarity and fineness of the reticles along with the magnification ranges and ability to find another image clearer than the last is outstanding. Price and quality are right where they need to be, this scope is a 10/10.

Built in range finder works great. Holdovers are very precise. Good clarity. Reticle is very thin and works great while using during well lit times of day. The sunshade helps for those really bright days. Not intending to use this during dusk/ dawn where a thinner reticle such as this might be difficult to pick up. The included lens cover/ cloth has a nice quality feel. Added a throw lever and that was the one main issue. Without it the magnification was too much effort to adjust. The A/0 was also initially very stiff but that has loosened up quite a bit. It's now firm, very secure.

Clear optics, easy to use, and light weight. I have shied away from additional number and lines in the reticle. Had a chance to use this model at Friendship .22 long range shoot in August. Immediately saw the benefit of FFP on targets from 50 to 200yds. Using on sporter style firearm, minimal added weight and stills looks good.

I have 2 diamondbacktactical scopes and love them. They are an exceptional value for the money with great glass and accurate turrets. My only complaint is that the radical only has substantions every 2 MOA .If the scope had them every MOA it would be a perfect scope. It needs the EBR-7C reticle they have in their other scopes.

I bought this scope a couple of months ago. By far one of the best optics for the money I have ever looked through. The Turrets hold good and easy to set zero. The turrets have a little bit of slack between each mil, but you also aren't paying 2000 for this optic either. Great scope for hunting or match shooting without empting out your bank account and Vortex for sure hit a homerun with this optic being first focal plane at this price. Very well done will buy more no doubt.

I got the 6-24X50 FFP MRAD to go on top of my Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. What a combo! This scope is perfect for that rifle. The turrets are solid, the glass is super clear, and I love the FFP! This is a great scope if you're looking for a budget FFP! I'll definitely be purchasing another couple!

Got it when it first came out, only one company in Alberta had it, needless to say it was a no brainer when I got, put it on my .308 fcp-sr , 2 shot zero and from there it was out to 562yds with sub moa group, couldn't be happier, should have came with a vortex hat though :), called Vortex to see if it was ok to paint the scope and there reply was " Go ahead just make sure to send us a picture we'd love to see it" , some companies painting a scope was a big no and voided the warranty, vortex warranty is number one in my book.

I bought this scope to go on a Bergera 6.5 Creedmoor. This is my first, first focal plane scope. After 2 shots and a 100 yard zero, I was shooting easily 640yd targets outs to 1240 at the furthest!! The glass is clear and easy to read redicle! Most of all, the price is incredible! Needless to say I'll definitely be purchasing another one very soon!! I'll be a vortex customer forever!! Thanks Vortex!!!

Bought this scope and placed it on my custom Ruger 10/22. I wanted a scope that had plenty of power but have the ffp features to have a simple dope card to use in NRL22 matches. This scope gives me everything I want plus a crystal clear glass for a price that can't be beat. I highly recommend this to any that shoots prs style matches

The first focal plane reticle, a feature ordinarily reserved for 4-figure-priced optics, allows shooters to use the information-packed EBR-2C reticles for ranging, holdovers or windage corrections on any magnification. Housed inside its durable, one-piece aluminum tube is a 4x optical system delivering excellent edge-to-edge clarity and sharp resolution.
Exposed elevation and windage turrets are low profile enough to stay out of the way in packing situations, but offer the quickness, ease and precision of dialing accurate shots at distance. A side adjustable parallax gives shooters peace of mind by removing parallax error from the equation from 10 yards to infinity.
