Great Product, Awesome Company!

This product is exactly what I was looking for in my first bino pack. I hunt in the Midwest and this will be perfect for those early morning and evening sits. I currently have a pair of Crossfire II HD 10x42s and have recently upgraded to the Viper HD 10x50s and this pack handles them just fine. This pack is well built and you can appreciate the large amount of adjustability. I will say, I wish the front pocket was a little bigger to fit my Viper HD 3000 Rangefinder but luckily Vortex includes a carrying pouch with it that I can use to attach to the waist straps. The side pockets are nice and can hold a bottle of Wind Detector and/or a headlamp. Overall, this product was a score and I cant wait to carry it with me in the deer woods and put it to use. Thanks Vortex Optics!

Must have for those that need to carry everything.

Durable, functional and is what I would expect from Vortex. Originally, I got this because I was getting into hunting and I was a marksmanship instructor in the Marine Corps. I wore it every day on the range because I needed to carry my binoculars in something that would protect them. I have 8 months of daily wear behind this harness, with repeated use of taking out my binoculars and using the other pouches. The environment was the high desert with constant sand and sun beating down on this harness. The zippers never broke or jammed on me, the elastic kept it strength and buckles worked flawlessly. It is very adjustable, but it does help to have a friend help you adjust the first time. For anyone with a large bust, this harness works but again, you must figure out the adjustment for your figure. I am saying this as a male, but my female students wanted to try it on. After a few adjustments, they also liked the way it felt. For an instructor and range safety officer, I found all the pockets convenient for my gun lubricant (CLP), muli-tool, extra ear protection, binocular adapter, extra tripod plate, lens cloth, pens, and laminated paperwork. It helped having everything center on my chest. I carried a 10x42r Steiner and they fit in perfect. The inside has this nice micro-fiber material, and the quick release was awesome to have. It allowed me to keep my harness on while having the ability to share my binoculars with my students. The top elastic portion would be perfect for a laser range finder, but I made good use of it for my phone/range cards. I would highly recommend this if you needed something that is functional and durable. Thank you Vortex for being an exceptional company, with your gear, costumer service and your INCREDIBLE discount. -Jerry Male 5?6 190

Needs a little help

Bought this harness for a mule deer hunt. The harness is very well made and has plenty adjustment. The main compartment held my 10x50 good. Maybe just a tad tight but they are 10x50’s. The front pocket was too small for my Ranger rangefinder. The small pockets on the side worked good for small stuff. I didn’t give it 5 stars because they seemed to be a little on the noisy side, also if you bent over your Binos are going to fall out. It comes with straps to attach to your binos but depending on your body position you can’t use them because the straps hold them back if your tuned side ways looking around a bush or tree. Would be great if the top cover opened to the front not the back that way you could leave the straps off. Also make it easier to put them back in the compartment. Wouldn’t cost any more to open to the from. Love Vortex products!

Excellent for birding while photographing

Used this BinoPack extensively on two trips so far. They’re excellent for keeping your binoculars easy and quick to access while you have your digital DSLR On a body strap/sling. For the first time ever, I could roam the woods and seashore with quick assess to either piece of gear! Highly recommended!

Not made for women

It would be nice if companies would remember that women also use their products. This guide bino pack is not made for women. The shoulder straps do not adjust, they are the length they are. The shoulder straps would need to be adjustable for a woman to use effectively. The pack itself is great quality. I bought one for my spouse. I wanted bino buddies for my vortex optics, the smaller pack did not for for my optics. I bought this pack as I knew it was great quality. Fits my optics. Never gave it a thought that these would not work for women. First, most women do not have the same yolk length as a man. Women do not have the same shoulder length as men so would be helpful if the shoulder straps were not so long. Where these fit my husband and rest comfortably on his chest which makes them accessible, for an average woman these fit below the breasts and cause strain on the back. My back was aching with only five miles worth of hiking. Second, these are also impossible to use in a side by side and use the seatbelt as again they rest below the breasts. My husband loves his, but it would be nice if these companies would take in account that women use their products. I have three optics for my rifles that are vortex and two pairs of vortex optics, it’s not my first time using vortex and I love the optics, hate this pack for fit. The quality is great, but it doesn’t work for me. It sits in the car and I use a different brand of optics when I’m in the field.i would love to use my vortex as we hunt prairie lands and the better optics from vortex is my preference. I would suggest vortex talk to women as well for design and fit. I would love to purchase a bino pack made and designed for the female frame.

Good product does everything you expect it to!

I bought this because I found the regular strap for the vortex cross fire hard on my neck, and it does everything I expected and more! It takes the strain off your neck and it feels like you don’t even have it on. I’ve used the binopack on little drives into the woods for scouting, or 4-5 day hunts in the toughest of country Newfoundland Canada has to offer. My range finder fits in the front pocket perfectly and it’s easily accessed. The two side pockets I store flagging tape, and some extra bullets in the other. The adjustment straps adjust quickly and without hassle all in all, I’m very satisfied with the vortex binopack!

Fantastic accessory!

I bought this to carry my new binoculars. I was pleasantly surprised to find the extra pockets hold my other gear easy to hand. Rangefinder and wind meter fit perfect. I lr that i can adjust the ride height and use the quick release buckles to get it on and off. Great piece of gear.

If you want to drop your pack for a stalk and still have your necessities this rig is awesome. Great for scouting. Holds your binos and range finder with more room for things you might need.

Well built.

I bought this about three months ago and absolutely love the way it protects my Viper 10x50 or my Viper 8x42. My only complaint and its a small one is l'd have liked it to be about 2 inches taller or wider and deeper to accommodate a Peterson Field Guide. I like to walk the woods and fields in the off months so when l run across a bird l take the time to identify it. Other than that issue l feel its near perfect.

Ideal for Diamondback 12x50

Perfect fit for binos, elastic sleeve on top fits my phone, zipper pocket on rear convenient for license/tags. Smaller zipper pockets good for lens cleaning cloth. Straps adjust easily and are comfortable all day under my pack straps.

Love it

I purchased a cheap harness and regretted it my whole trip. My buddy had this and i picked it up as soon as we got home. It has great storage for a grab and go chase. I like to keep the necessities in there so if we are on the move i can dump my bag and survive with what's in the harness.

Comfortable for long days

I got this pack for hunting season and it’s pretty comfortable. My neck and shoulders have lived a hard life and this pack helped greatly with soreness. The shoulder straps/pads help to distribute the weight better than regular bino harnesses. The extra pockets are also pretty handy. I stored my hunting license, back up range finder battery, and extra pistol magazine in the pockets along with some extra rifle shells. The only thing that would be nice to have on the pack is a place/pocket for a rangefinder. It’s a bit of a pain to have your rangefinder banging around on the pack while it’s loose on your neck.

Great Features

These are a game changer! You feel no weight of your binos at all and with all of the accessory pockets they have made them even more great! If you are gun hunting you have a pocket for shells and a range finder will also fit in them! You can put your cell phone in the back pouch! And also has places on the top to clip things on! They thought about everything with these! I dont go in the woods without them!!

Must have Accessory

I purchased the Guide BinoPack after carrying around binos all weekend during a hunt. The BinoPack is a game changer and I would recommend anyone that does a lot of hunts where glassing is involved. The pack stays secure and is very adjustable, I prefer wearing it mid chest. The accessory pouch in the front is very useful and will fit a rangefinder in it.

Nearly Perfect

I've been using this harness for nearly a year and love it. The pack and shoulder straps are super comfortable, and very durable. Once on and adjusted, the pack hardly moves at all. My 10x42 Diamondbacks fit great, with room to spare in the front pocket for the Ranger 1000 rangefinder. The side pockets are handy for a wind checker bottle and diaphragm calls, but the zippers can be somewhat difficult to operate with one hand at times. Minor complaint for an all-around solid bino harness.
