50mm WILL NOT FIT?
BEWARE? the 50mm Viper sunshade WILL NOT FIT the Viper PST gen II 5-25x50 ffp scope. Not sure why, but it is too small and won?t screw into the objective. Guess I just wasted $40 on a sunshade. Not happy at all!

Check first before buying!
I bought a Viper 44mm Sunshade, planning to use it on my Vortex Sonora 4-12x44. Great quality piece, but unfortunately, it was far too small to thread in. Apparently, not all 44mm objectives are the same. Will have to give it away to someone with a Viper scope. Wish the description would've said "for use ONLY on Viper models", so I would've known before I wasted $40...

As a professional photographer for over 40 years, I've always known the value of lens hoods - you call them sunshades. The one for my Viper is excellent. If you don't have one,get one. You will not regret it.

Didn’t really believe in sun shades till I actually owed this one! Great little accessorie to have!
