I give five stars for the scope quality and performance. . . HOWEVER, I see there are a few folks having trouble with the fit of the Viper 5x25-50 sun shade.
My issue wasn't fit. It is NOISE. . !!!
This thing could call turkeys for miles and miles. . so loud . I know some lithium, chapstick, bear fat or whatever will fix it but when ya pay this price none of us should be having any issues with a sunshade.

I ordered the Viper 44mm sunshade to fit to my Vortex Crossfire 2 scope 4-16x44.
Unfortunately it does not attach, as the sunshade diameter is not the same despite being labelled "44".
What sunshade do you have to fit the Crossfire 2.

No glare at all with this thing. If only these were available for all of my scopes. I may have received a blem though, since the Vortex logo and "Vortex Viper 50" faces down when threaded on all the way.

Great sunshade for my Viper 6.5-20x50

This was not the same OD as the objective of the scope. It is smaller and I had to use a Buttler Creek 39 cover that fit tight on it. The one for the scope won't fit it is too big. It is of good quality but, should be the same size as the scope. I have the 6.5-20X50 scope and the 30mm level. this really helped shade it for long shots in the sun.
