Slightly over engineered but works well and mounts well. I'm not sure why they sell them for so much since other companies sell the same exact product with a different branding. I'm sure they are bought from a company in china for 10 bucks.

I didn't realize the importance of a level optic until taking a course and learning from vortex through the online learning on this platform - even if you shoot casually, making sure you have a good zero is the basis of having fun. If you're hunting, there is even more reason to be on point when the shot counts. If you are LEO or MIL, there literally no excuse. Even if it's not something you use everyday, it's an inexpensive addition to maintaining excellence in shooting.

its been great for me! im a sniper with the U. S army and I've built my own personal long gun, needed a level that would make those long shots easier and more accurate. this is cheap and does the job really well.

Pretty easy to install. You have to finesse the tightening of the clamp but over all not bad to install. Stayed true over 200 rounds of a 7prc

I put this on a diamondback tactical scope that I have mounted on a Remmington 700. I use a Magpul bipod that moves a lot, and this helps me maintain a level gun before each shot. Make sure when mounting this you account for which eye dominant you are so you mount it with the correct side sticking out. Very simple installation make sure you take your time and do not overtighten the screw. It takes some patience to make sure its nice and level when the screw is tightened.

It's a little bulky but it works. If you have a neoprene scope cover, it catches a little bit on the level but if you're careful, it's fine. I prefer the pro bubble level. It's much smaller.

While installation is more complicated than a rail-mount level (ensuring the bubble is level to the optic is key), an optic-mounted level is inherently better as you tie your bubble level reading directly to the orthogonality of your windage and elevation adjustment. Pros: * Affordable * Bubble is easily visible to non-dominant eye without shifting your head position * Spirit level seems to be quite accurate for its size Cons: * Fit/Finish is a little rough with edges that can easily snag on underbrush or inside a gunbag * Will fit on any larger scopes where a level is warranted, but may not fit on lower magnification hunting-style scopes due to taking up linear realestate on the tube. Recommendations: Set eye relief in your scope mount and level your scope before installing so the spirit level does not interfere with your scope mounts. Personal use: traditional and PRS style target shooting and competitions, although I would not hesitate to use it for hunting if I lived in an area where long-range hunting was common.

This level is super easy to install and works about as well as a level can. I have used these in the past, and put them on every hunting rifle I use. In Wyoming close shots are rare, so using these to verify rifle angle before taking that shot can mean a hit vs a miss at normal Wyoming distances, and this is the level I choose for the value and quality.
