This little device prevents the binox from folding past a pre-determined angle. They will open more. In order to work, the binox must have a front hinge tripod adapter threaded hole

I have a narrow IPD (c. 60mm). This product works reasonably well on my Vortex Viper 6x32 bins, but it seems like my IPD is between two click stops, so it is slightly off. I intended to use it on my Zen-Ray ED2 8x43 bins, but they did not work because the threaded hinge of that open bridge binocular is too close to the end of the barrel and one of the Binoc-Loc arms reaches past the end of the barrel.

The Vortex Binoc-Loc keeps binoculars hinged at the right angle for the best views. The ingeniously small Binoc-Loc does the Herculean task of holding up even the largest binocular barrels so they won't collapse down too far and impede your view. Especially helpful when viewing with just one hand on the bino, the Binoc-loc puts an end to fussing with the interpupillary distance.
