I have 7 Crossfire II scopes, love them! I have them on a 257 wby mag, 6. 5-300 wby mag, 300 wby mag, 30-06, 7mm-08, and 2 cva Optima 50 cal muzzle loaders. I haven't had one moment of problems with them not holding zero, even under the recoil of the Weatherby Magnums. I have and will buy this scope again.

The eye relief on this scope to me is the best by far of most of their budget friendly optics! I have owned 3-4 of these and love them!

I put the vortex 44 mm on my savage 270. Bolt action, and I'm nailing deer from 150-200 plus yards.

I put this on a Springfield 1903 (made in 1917) I saved from a pawn shop that somebody started to sporterize but messed up the scope rail holes. I repaired the holes, but it was already committed to a scope. I shot it first with a cheaper 2-7x40 I had setting around. Sub MOA so I decided to upgrade. Vortex was on sale for Cyber Monday. Lucky me!!!

I bought this scope to put on a Weatherby 243 that I recently won. I have other Vortex products but this is my first crossfire. Mounted it today and shot the rifle. Zeroed it at 25 yards then moved to 100. Zeroed it at 100 and then was smokin steel targets from 150-375. I love the BDC reticle.

Don't let the price scare you into feeling you're somehow compromising with this product.....You're not! This product is extremely well constructed, smooth but solid magnification, quick adjust/no tool windage and elevation adjustments. This scope rivals others that are 3x the price. Mounted on a CVA Acura V2 muzzleloader with a high Durasight single piece dead-on mount. John "Ringo" Longo Host/Producer Kettlebottom Outdoor Posts

Bought the Crossfire II 4-12x44 for a Ruger American Go Wild 308 and it was an excellent pairing! I was looking for something that was well made and reliable but would not break the bank at the same time and this Crossfire II is a WINNER! Hands down! It is built like a rock and the glass is extremely clear! I love that you can zero the turrets after you have it dialed in! GREAT feature for sure! This rifle is used primarily for hunting. The eye relief was great and it felt natural and comfortable to shoulder! The 44mm objective allows plenty of light collection even at dawn and dusk hours but does not feel to big or bulky. After I got it dialed in, the thing was giving me 1 MOA groups at 100 yds. using Winchester Extreme Point 150 gr. ammunition. It is a tack driver! I love the Crossfire II and would highly recommend it!

Mounted on my 7mm-08 hunting rifle to replace a Burris 2x7 E1. Excellent eye relief. Very clear on all magnifications. But, the eye box gets REALLY small over 9x. Not a deal breaker for the price - just need to be aware that at 12x you have to keep your eye placement very precise to see at all. Adjustments are positive click, and true.

This is my 4th Vortex scope. Have the same size in a Copperhead, but I like this Crossfire better due to the quick focus ring on the eyepiece. As usual, ultra clear optic, love the BDC reticle, and it's a good looking scope. Enjoy all the Vortex scopes that I own. It also looks great on my Remington .308 Varmint rifle.

This scope was part of a value package mounted on a Ruger American .308. for the setup, it fit perfectly. The scope has great clarity and low light responsiveness. From a stand, you can still see very clearly out to 200 yds reight up to legal hours. Once the scope is properly set up is functions as intended. Great eye relief. Overall for the price point an excellent starting scope.

Been using Vortex for going on 3 years now and these are the absolute best scopes for the money. I'd never even dare to try anything different. Along with my rangefinder aswell neither have ever failed me and always exceed my expectations.

I bought the scope to put on top of my 7mm mag for deer season, thing is clear as day. I’m not a long range shooter, most of what I do is under 150 yards, but I’ll tell you what I looked across a field with this thing and I could see as clear at a 1000 yards as I could at 100.

Just bought this scope .. Talked to rep explained I wanted to put it on a .22 for bullseye shooting at 25 to 50 yes. At this distance parallax is terrible and useless at this distance otherwise I like it. Will send this back and look for a different scope ...To bad.

I bought the 4x12x44 crossfire II for my new left hand Ruger American 308. I kinda need what to expect as I put a Crossfire II 4x12x50 on my son's 30.06 a few years ago. I love the dead hold. Took very little time to hone in to under 1 inch groups at 100 yards and under 2 inch groups at 300 yards. Accurate, coste effective and reliable. I am sold on vortex for life and plan on purchasing a diamondback for my 300 H&H Magnum.

This I a great scope for general hunting purposes. The hold over marks are nice but you have to put your time in on the range to find out what distances they are with your setup. All in all I love this scope for ease of use in the field, clarity is very good, turrets track well however this should be a set and forget. Zoom ring is tight but not too tight. Just wish there was a way to calculate the hold over hashes.

Have had this scope for about 3 years and has never let me down. I’d love to be able to get one of their higher end scopes to compare it to, because I’ve never had any issues with their “bottom of the line” scope.

I put this on a Savage Axis XP because it's hard to justify lots of money on a scope for a cheap gun. For the price, this scope really matches the gun. That said, this scope changed the rifle for me. The cheap scope that comes on the axis is barely adequate, and putting this on brought sub MOA groups that I was previously not able to consistently get. This scope has traveled a lot of rough miles out hunting and I have never had an issue.

Hallo from Georgia/Caucasus! I bought this scope about a month ago for my Marlin Model 60. Now I can see my groups through the scope at 100 yards. It is very clear, it hold zero and it is very easy to see/spot your target! I love to hunt wit this scope, it’s very bright and I can see my target in darker areas pretty clear! Let me say it this way: if your rifle is accurate… the Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44 won’t disappoint you!
I cannot believe the clarity at this price point!

I purchased this scope for a unique rifle build based on saving money and doing the work necessary to make the rifle shoot as good as I can for under 500 dollars. This riflescope was purchased with not many expectations, but when I opened the box up it blew my mind. This this is 100% clear through the optic all the way to the edges. No blur, crisp reticle, and easy to use. Out of all my Vortex products honest to god I think this one is my favorite. AMAZING.
The Vortex Optics Crossfire II 4 - 12 x 44 mm Riflescope has low profile turrets, that are less susceptible to accidental impact damage and reset turrets, that allow re-indexing of the turret housing to zero after sighting in the riflescope - generally requires use of a coin or wrench.
The V-Plex reticle is a single best and most popular all-purpose hunting reticle intended for a wide variety of hunting applications.
The solid one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction of the Crossfire riflescope is outstanding in strength, rugged and shockproof. Neutral pressure nitrogen purging guarantees waterproofing and fog-proofing that withstands the elements at any elevation.
