Holds zero with 300wsm! Great scope!
I bought this scope because of the VBrite reticle for deer hunting. I actually sent it back because I couldn’t keep it zeroed with ammo that I knew grouped really well with my old scope. Vortex sent it back with a form that said it was ok. When I received the same scope back I was furious. Awesome Scope for the money!
I bought this scope to mount on my Springfield Armory M1A and am very satisfied with the looks and with the performance of this scope. It lives up to all that it is advertised....very clear optic in low light situations and it is very rugged as it has taken a good amount of abuse with the usual knocks that come from traveling in the field. The Vortex Optics Crossfire II 3-12x56 AO Hog Hunter Riflescope with V-Brite Reticle is a purpose-built scope designed for hog hunting. The large objective lens and anti-reflective fully multicoated optics are designed for use in low-light conditions such as at dawn and dusk, or in heavily wooded areas with a dense canopy, when hogs are most active. Capped low-profile turrets provide 1/4 MOA per click shot correction, with 15 MOA of travel per revolution and 60 MOA of total windage and elevation adjustment.
The Crossfire II employs the versatile V-Brite modified duplex crosshair reticle. This reticle features 2.3 MOA thick outer posts that taper to thinner hairs which draw the eye to an illuminated center red-dot. The dot has eleven brightness settings to adjust it to your preference and lighting conditions. The scope's 30mm main-tube is made of a single-piece of aluminum with a matte-black hard anodized finish. It's nitrogen-filled for water and fogproof performance in extreme conditions.
