they have an absolutely great image in perfect lighting conditions. as soon as the light is not perfect the image is full of white hazing. can't get rid of it no matter what adjustments you make. i have 40 yr. old canon 8*23's which weren't super expensive and they don't do this at all in a side by side comparison.

The clarity is spectacular; price is great for an all-around pair of binocs. Focuses easily. They feel solid and are of great quality. Haven't used them in the rain yet, so can't say how they do, but work great for wildlife watching. I love that it comes with a protective case, carry strap, AND the harness.

I bought these binoculars for 3d competition archery. They work great and from 40 +yrd can still see the scoring rings. I have also started using them for scanning areas while hunting. I like the chest harness that comes with it. The focus know is smooth to adjust and the clarity of the glass is awesome. I purchased a tripod mount for them for use on the range. I highly recommend these binoculars for any anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Build feels solid in the hand without being too heavy, dial is easy to adjust for focus and has grip that would help if using gloved hands. Clear glass. Chest rig that comes with is just okay, works in a pinch and provides some cushioning but it is really hard to dial in a fit and the thin straps can cut after a while.

Have been using the Vortex Crossfire binos for about 5 years now and I love them. Before I bought the Crossfires, I always used cheap binos and struggled to see what I was looking at. After switching to Vortex, it is easy to acquire your target through the binoculars, keep a track on it, and zoom in/out. It is a great added bonus that Vortex includes the neck strap AND a chest rig. I did not think that I would utilize the chest rig, but I use it every time I use the binos. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone that needs a great set of binoculars

Fantastic product at a great price point. These binoculars are great for whitetail hunting or letting the kids use them at the state parks you cannot go wrong. glass is clear and the additional harness provided by vortex is a plus and who does not like a lifetime warranty. Whether your are purchasing your first set of binoculars or a seasoned outdoorsman having a set around will definitely be put to good use.

These have crystal clear optics at a great price but the eyepieces are just too firm. I saw some suggestions to buy aftermarket cups to put on the end so I may try that.

Still some parallax issues when using them at the range. Hard to also use while wearing protective eyewear. The carry pouch is great though I was super happy that was included I wasn't expecting that. Definitely good for beginners but also totally viable for experts as well. They are good quality and don't feel cheap. Definitely worth the price and their reputation speaks for itself. Love you bye.

lifetime warranty, great glass quality for the price point. added bonus to come with the chest harness to protect them while hiking. didn't use the train cover because they should be in the harness or on the face, but that's just me. great intro level glass, but if you have the coin you should go for the viper line instead. overall, very happy with the purchase. paid out with a tripod and sit back and realize what you've been missing all along.

If you have the money upgrade up from crossfire. I use these to scout deer from house. They work good from a distance, but the higher quality once like diamond back or razor would be worth the investment.

Eric at Vortex provided me with customer service that I have not seen from a companies product in years!!! Eric drove to Jaco in Costa Rica and attempted to fix an eyepiece on my Crossfire HD 12x50 binoculars. The piece did not fit properly. Eric took the binos to his store near the San Jose airport fixed them and returned them the next day. Well beyond my expectations!!! I accidentally dropped the binoculars breaking the eyepiece. The warranty and customer service is second to none.

Clear glass and handy chest rig add big value. This has exceeded my expectations. Very pleased with this purchase. The included neck band attachment and chest right attachment point could be improved, if both we able to attached and detached with buckles. This would improve quick interchangeability. Overall, this product is worth its price point and should be considered for beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike.
