Perfect scope for a small application and short range use. Threw it on my 22 and it's held an incredible zero

Probably the best optic for my 10/22 sporter for what I wanted. Considered the Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40, but you don't need that magnification with a . 22LR Rim. Given the ExpertVoice Pro discount, this was a no brainer, even when I could get the Leupold at cost for a . 22 LR

This scope does everything that I wanted it to do, at a price I could afford, along with a warranty that is the best. This goes on my Tikka T3x, . 308 Win. With a 20" barrel. It is my stalking/still hunting rifle and fits it perfectly for the job that it is intended for. I can shoot clover leaf sized groups at 100 yards with my handloads, and I've shot softball sized groups out at 300 yards. More than capable for my intentions.

I SELECTED THIS OPTIC TO INSTALL ON MY "RICHMOND TACTICAL" CUSTOM-BUILT RIFLE THAT IS CHAMBERED IN .5.56MM "WYLDE CHAMBER", 16" ROSCOE BARREL 1:8 TWIST & TIPPED WITH A "TACFIRE" LINEAR MUZZLE COMPENSATER. THE SCOPE IS MOUNTED IN A 1" HIGH RING MADE BY "EGW". WANTED AN OPTIC THAT WAS NOT TOO BIG / TOO LITTLE PHYSICALLY BUT TURNED OUT TO BE JUST THE RIGHT DIMENSIONS AT LEAST FOR THIS TYPE OF RIFLE & FOR THE PURPOSE I HAVE INTENDED TO USE IT FOR---OORAH, SEMPER FIDELIS & KEEP EVERY SHOT FIRED INSIDE THE 10-RING !!!!!!!!

90 percent of my optics are vortex. I love vortex.Even though this isnt their nicest quality of glass and such that they offer... I was still surprised to see that the reticle itself is fuzzy. I have a crossfire scope on my .22 and it's super crisp (cheaper scope than this). The black etching that makes up the reticle on this scope looks like its velvet and it's not solid/crisp. Pretty odd. It was actually kinda messing with me while trying to zero in. I do think the scope will be ok overall, especially for my wife's hunting rifle. But the reticle just strikes me as not being right ... I may send it in.

The Image quality in this scope is not what I was looking for. The edges of the image are blurry which I was OK with. The deal breaker for me and this scope was the wobble of the image if your eye moved the slightest bit while looking through it. It was Like looking through a jelly fish. I had a couple other people try it to see if it was just me and they agreed it was weird. I have some Diamondback binoculars and I am very happy with those. I was hoping for a similar quality and clarity with this scope but it did not deliver. I would recommend getting you hands on one in person before ordering this online. Take a look through it so you know what you are getting.

Holds zero. Quality glass. Simple and effective. Read the manual as it will help take out the guesswork.

Works great on my Marlin Model 60. The clarity is on par or maybe a little better than other scopes in the price range. The parallax is very dramatic if the focus is not perfectly set.

I was shopping in the local gun store for a good scope for deer hunting. While I was looking at Nikon and other big name scopes the guy at the counter recommended the Diamondback to me. I’ve heard of vortex ops before but never owned one. The clarity on the scope was amazing. I’ve had this scope for a couple years now and I’ve had it on my 308, my 30-30 and now it’s on my ar15. Any you have, this will be a great scope for. Close up range to 100s yards out, it will do the job.vortex is my go to for all my scope needs from now on.

Bought this new from amazon. Argon purged, finger adjustable, very smart magnification range. Solid build. The problem is very poor optical performance. The higher magnification range Diamondbacks don't seem to suffer in the same way. Very hard to pick out a Deer, if you're looking for one. Fuzzy low light performance. Cool, flat colors. Lots of (radial?) distortion at any setting. It's a well conceived product and solidly built... but optically it's just not ready. Maybe the 1.5-5 mag range is just pushing what the low-cost manufacturing can do. Sent the product back. Not going to buy another Vortex from this Model line. Might likely have to regard Viper as the cheapest Vortex I'd consider buying. Every MFG has a lower tier cut-off to their "good stuff" and I'd suggest Viper is it. But I'm kind of surprised, because Vortex has a name for pulling off good performance at lower price points.

I own 5 vortex scopes at this point and this is by far my favourite. I hunt in dense forest and the low magnification, clarity and weight make this amazing for the hunting I do. I liked it so much that I bought one for my brother and dad. My only gripe is the BDC reticle is useless to me because of how close the hashes are to each other. At the time the BDC was my only option but I see they make a Duplex as well that would fit me better.

I recently purchased this scope after deciding to move from a red dot to a magnified optic on my AR15. I was not interested in a scope the size of the rifle or capable of spotting distant planets, a 1.75-5 power was precisely what I needed. The build quality and attention to detail are outstanding, the glass is clear and the reticle crisp. Sight in was a standard affair and I feel the scope has allowed my rifle’s accuracy to be realized. I am still in awe that this level of quality and performance came so affordably! Thank you Vortex

The Diamondback loaded with features! First, the solid one piece aircraft grade aluminum alloy construction makes the Diamondback riflescope virtually indestructible and highly resistant to magnum recoil. Argon purging puts waterproof and fogproof performance on the agenda, and advanced fully multi-coated optics raise an eyebrow when crystal clear, tack-sharp images appear in the crosshairs. Look for all this and more in a riflescope you'd expect to cost quite a bit more but doesn't. We can live with that.
Experience great hunting in dense cover!! Vortex knows good hunting gets all the better with high quality optics. For that reason, Vortex makes sure every glass surface of the Diamondback is fully multi-coated to transmit a full 91 percent of the light delivering the bright details you need when taking aim.
With a Diamondback riflescope on your firearm, you'll head out with complete confidence in the harshest of habitats. The Diamondback takes great strides against the abuse of repeated recoil with a rugged one piece main tube constructed of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and sets high standards for waterproofing and fogproofing with argon gas purging.
Precision-Glide Erector System features premium grade fluoropolymer teflon resin bushings that provide exceptional resistance to stress cracking, temperature change, corrosion, and friction-induced wear. In addition, these bushings have an ultra-low coefficient of friction for the smoothest possible operation of the magnification adjustment.
