I installed this on my Robinson Armament XCR-M .308 which I generally use for hunting. I have the Burris AR-QD 1” scope mount, since then I updated the folding stock to a non folding. Have yet to take it out again as it is out for camo painting. Scope works great on my XCR-M 308. I like the deadhold/bdc reticle. I shoot the federal fusion 180 grain ammunition. This is my go to rifle for hunting. I would highly recommend the vortex hp diamondback scope it is worth the buy.

Have had this for about a year. This thing is tough, accurate, and just plain 'ol good lookin'. I haven't needed the warranty but I feel confident in Vortex should the need ever arise.

I bought this scope last year and put it on my .270. I shot a deer and an elk this year with this setup. Worked great!

I bought the 3-12x42 HP for my 16in Aeroprecision AR10 and I love it! This was my first Vortex scope and I will absolutely be buying my next from them as well. I highly recommend!

I've had this for two months now and have it on a Ruger American Ranch Rifle in 308. It was dead on at 25 out of the box. Love the clarity compared to other optics in the same Price range. The reticle is easy to use and I just live it.

I put this on a Sako 300 WM about 3 years ago and have been pleased with the durability, clarity, and accuracy. I used it to harvest by best elk and black bear on some rough backcountry hunts and it has held zero, even after flying. I have no complaints, the adjustments are smooth and positive.

I got this off of a trade. I was looking for something that would help me get into long distance shooting but something that wouldn’t break the bank! I was on the fence between this and the Nikon this scope is perfect. It lets me go the distance I need and be able to see clearly without a problem

Recently bought this scope for my Browning X-Bolt canyon speed 7mm mag and was blown away at the high quality of the product as a whole. I plan on buying something with a little more reach in the near future but you cannot beat the price and warranty for this quality of a scope, Vortex’s got me hook line and sinker.

I bought this scope for my Ruger Hawkeye in 300 Winchester Magnum. Eye relief is extremely important for calibers that have a substantial amount of recoil. The generous 4” eye relief completely eliminates the probability of getting “scope eye”. I feel as this made me more accurate because I don’t have to worry about getting popped in the eye after very trigger pull. The adjustable parallax is very useful and convenient. The hash marks are fairly close to what they should be. For example, my parallax is set at 90 at 100 yards. The turrets have very pronounced clicks. Light transmission is very good. Image is very crisp and clear. I could compare the quality in low light conditions to my Leupold vx-3. They are almost completely identical. The scope handle the 300 win mag recoil very well. It was somewhat difficult to sight in because the 1/4 MOA turrets weren’t exact. This is my first Vortex and I am hooked. Appears to also have a fantastic warranty.

I've been a cheapstake for WAY too long! This scope is amazing! I put it on my new AR to reach out and touch those song dogs. The included 4" sunshade is awesome and the picture couldn't be better. The paralax adjustment is great and the hash marks on the reticle are spot on (figure out YOUR drop compared to the reticle). I was using 55 grain HSM reloads out of a 1:7 barrel which is not ideal (69-77) I could see my target "react" at 275 yards. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought my Diamondback HP 3x12 with BDC ret. about a year ago. I built a AR platform gun (my first) to shoot in entry level two gun matches. I know a lot of guys shoot 1x6 type optics but I'm a little older and wanted the magnification, My first shoot was where it earned its place as my best optic. The clarity, depth of field, BDC reticle, and the side focus knob allowed me to quickly range and acquire hits on 6" steel targets from 200 to 450 yards on the first or second shot. It was amazing and helped me score with the big boys. I love it and am now replacing all my scopes when I can with VORTEX. AWESOME SCOPES!

I purchased this scope for my deer rifle, and couldn’t be happier with it. Right off the bat there were a few issues with the turrets, but the Vortex team responded to my email within minutes and I sent the scope off for warranty. I could not be more impressed with the quickness of the VIP warranty team. I had my scope back within two weeks in perfect working order!! The scope reticle is very nice and fine, and paired with with the LRBC on the vortex website, the accuracy is superb!

I bought this sight a few months ago. Less than 5 shots to get it zeroed on my 6.5 Creedmoor. Its held zero thru over a 100 shots. Been bumped while hunting. Great glass. My 5th Vortex and I’ll be buying more.

Purchased for my Browning 308 on an elk/ deer hunt. The glass was so nice 2 hunting buddies bought one. The third wished he did when a horse stepped on his bushnell. Sorry bud, no lifetime unconditional guarantee there! The versatility of the 3-12×42 was great! Mule deer at last light at about 180yds and an elk snuck up on me at about 40yds. Freezer full. Thanks vortex! Already bought my next scope for my slug gun.

I've owned this scope for a couple years. I mounted it on a 17 hmr and a .22lr. It's never let me down. Great all around scope for a smaller caliber.

...I bought a this scope to replace an older bushnell trophy. During my first fall with it the optical quality (low light and contrast) were beyond disappointing. Even with the sunshade it was completely unusable looking to the west in the last couple hrs of light. I finally took my other rifle, now wearing the bushnell, out and compared them side by side one evening. The bushnell was noticeable better in both contrast and low light. I could see nothing wrong with the scope to send in for a warranty claim so I just took it off and sold it after my last season of 2016. The scope I replaced it with (Nikon Prostaff 5) performed fantastically this fall and had none of the limitations/drawbacks of the diamondback hp.

I bought this scope as a replacement for a Redfield that I had taken off my Remington R25 .243 ...this scope not only surpassed the Redfield in quality but also in dependability ...nothing can compare to Vortex as far as price , quality and the best warranty in the industry

I bought this scope last fall for deer season on my Remmington 700 in 308. It has an awesome eye relief and the adjustability ranging is easy to use. Ranging is an easy adjustment as the game appears within your sight of varying distances. The glass is super clear and reticle is easily accessible

My brother in law and I both have this scope. He bought the BDC and I have the VPlex. Originally had a Nikon on my deer rifle and bought this one for a .17hmr plinker. When I mounted this on my Rimfire rifle and saw how clear it was... even at the edges, I immediately mounted it on my hunting rifle instead of the Nikon. I can’t say enough good things about this scope. Unmatched clarity and features for a scope of this price and how could you beat the warranty? Buy one now. Don’t wait.
