I use this for everything from bird watching to scanning for game and it crushes it every time. The brightness is amazing and no matter what range it is quick to focus which makes it great for both sitting around and looking for birds, or scanning for game in the distance. I hunt small game and it has come in handy many times.

I've been using Vortex Diamondback 10x50 for about 10 years now and they were excellent, finally decided to pull the trigger on a pair of the Razor HDs and I was not disappointed! The clarity is amazing, and the build quality is superb! These are a great upgrade, and I wish I had bought these sooner. I went with 10x50s because that's the standard where I hunt in north west Oregon, but with the improved clarity and light transmission I think I could of even gone with the smaller 10x40s and saved some weight without sacrificing much especially compared to my old Diamondbacks.

Great durability and clear optics. 10x42 is a great all around size that works well for both treestand hunting for deer/bear as well as spot and stalk for western game.

Got these Vortex 10x50 last spring for a bear hunt and have absolutely loved them! They have worked great for spotting animals both in the field and checking targets on the bow range. Glass quality is great and they are easy to focus. I had no issues spending long afternoons looking through these Binos. The locking diopter however, is a little clunky to adjust. I definitely recommend a good steady tripod and head combo to go along with these.

Good glass. Only change I would make is the eyecups are very small. I feel like they could be a bit longer blocking out more light.

I wrecked on my motorbike and cracked my gen 1 razor 10x50 binos. Vortex emailed me back within hours and I sent them off. Unfortunately they werent repairable but the folks at Vortex got me a new pair. The new pair is 10x the glass, lighter, crisper and compact. Love these guys! Isn't the first time they've taken care of me in a pinch and likely won't be the last! Thanks guys and thanks for great product!

These binos are replacing my Leupold BX5s. They have very similar glass to me but the vortex feel more substantially built and I love the locking diopter adjustment on the razors. They fit inside of my Large Marsupial bino case but I had to switch to that from my Mystery Ranch bino case in order to accommodate the Leupolds that I was using. Buy with confidence. I think that these are probably the best value for your money without stepping up to Swaro or Razor UHD, both of which are a significant cost bump.

I have Swarovski NL 10x42. Most of my friends are never going to pay that much. Every time I pick up these Razor HD I'm just amazed how good they are. I enjoy using them as much or more.There well built. The 50mm objective, the luxurious 5.0 exit pupil, equals high performance. Just wish I bought the UHD! For the money 1/3 of the price and 1/2 the price the value is incredible. Vortex also has a great compact inexpensive tripod adapter. Try these10x Razors on a tripod WOW, brilliant! I'm looking at ducks out on the lake, then, some warblers come up behind me I can pop them off the tripod and hand hold them, then instantly put them back on the tripod. Its starting to rain, pop them off and run for the car.!! You don't have to have deep pockets for great glass.

I have purchased 4 bino's and one scope from Vortex. I will never look at another company again for optics. The Razor 10x50 that I own are the best, and worth every penny I spent on them. Vortex has been in my opinion the best bang for your buck. Some of the ones I have purchased, and I have have given away and are now discontinued which is disappointing since they work so well, but regardless I know Vortex will match up no matter what if I/they have issues. I am looking at purchasing the Razor 11-33 spotting scope for me, and a pair of diamond back 10x50 for my cousin to use this season. If you are looking for quality glass at a great price look no further! Vortex for Life!

Vortex is a great company they have products that suit any style of hunter. I have owned and used many of there products including Razor HD and Viper HD spotting scopes, 10-50 razor and viper binoculars, 10-42 Fury binoculars, ranger range finder, diamond back rifle scope, and multiple tripods. Each year I live out of a backpack in the Alaskan wilderness upwards of four months putting their equipment to the absolute test of abuse and practical use. My favorite product hands down is my 10-50 Razor binoculars. I have had the opportunity to test them with other very high-end binoculars and I can not tell a difference. To top it off often times those other companies do not have the customer serves to rival Vortex. Whether I have needed a screw for a tripod or a nitrous leak fixed they have sent it or fixed it, fast without hassle. On the subject of nitrous leaks, I have yet to have any in razor products. I have in older viper models but that was with extreme use (weeks of rain. As soon as I could mail it in in all cases, they fixed it pronto. If you’re the type of hunter that goes elk hunting ten days a year with the occasional weekend trips the viper product is the way to go. You can even use viper professionally but If your able I highly recommend Razor. You will have no problem competing with other big name companies.

I am a coyote caller and bought these to carry with me when out calling coyotes in South Dakota, was looking for a lighter more compact 10X50 instead of a 10X42 because of ability to bring in more light in early mornings and late evenings. These are the real answer for that, the perfect fit for me, clear, light, compact, and very durable, for 10X50 they are very nice to carry and use while in the field covering a lot of ground. I would highly recommend them, and compare them to other 10X42 bins, I believe that you will agree, and with a great company like Vortex with their outstanding warranty you cant go wrong. One problem is the Vortex flu, I looked through their 12X50 Razor UHD and will also have a pair of those soon too, but for a differnt use, they are bigger , but the view is something that everyone should see, believe me if you see a pair ask to look through them, you will be amazed.

I got my pair of Razors as a graduation gift. Its the best pair of binoculars I have ever owned, and they easily compare to top European brands like Zeiss and Swarovski. Amazing clarity in all light conditions and great build quality. I never leave for a hunt without them. I can highly recommend these binos to anyone looking for a buy-once solution.

I have always ran 10x42's in the past but wanted as little more clarity at long range and these 10x50s met that criteria. Not as bulky as 12's and super sleek in design. I'm extremely happy with the quality of the products I'm receiving from Vortex. Unmatched clarity and durability is what keeps me coming back. As a dealer I love to have first hand experience with this stuff before I reccomend it to customers. Keep it up guys!

Upgraded from the Viper HD series to the Razor HD's. Very happy with the change. Great Glass and features. Great build quality and they feel good in the hand. Had a pair of 12X50 Razor HD's as well, but switched to the 10x's for easier viewing without a tripod or a good rest. Overall best binos I have owned in quite some time.

I bought this pair of binoculars 3 years ago, it has seen 3 hunting trips and several scouting trips. The best low light binoculars crystal clear, I have said it before and will say it again. I will never buy another brand of binoculars, vortex is the best. You won’t be disappointed!!

Owned these binos for about 4 years now and I know they are the last ones I'll ever need. They are so clear that on a cloudless night i am able to glass with moonlight just before dawn! They large objective is amazing as well. They are indestructible with normal use and mine have very minimal signs of wear. The only negative I have is the rubber on the eye piece sometimes pops out but it's easily replaced.

I have had these for over a year now and use them all the time. I have had the chance to compare them to Leica, Swarovski, and Meopta all of which were in the $2,000-$4,000 range. I have found that the razors are nearly identical in all fields and in most cases better for half the price. Another thing to consider is the warranty Vortex offers! If something happens to an optic from most other brands you're SOL and out of thousands of dollars but if something happens to your Vortex products you're covered. In reality as long as they are not stolen, lost or intentionally damaged these are the last binoculars you'll ever have to buy!
