Binos are excellent quality. Very clear and have a great warranty. Just used at the range so far can't wait for next deer season. Best binos I have had so far. The harness and case are an added bonus. These binos are great for any experience level.

These are my daily drivers up on the mountain and they almost never cease to amaze me with their clarity. They really excel when put on a tripod and can darn near spot everything my spotting scope can. My one and only complaint is that they are a little heavy. I am sure they are that way to maintain their durability but I do notice it when freehanding them for extended periods of time. Also the vortex customer service is second to none!

I bought new Razor 12x50 HD binoculars several years ago. The optical performance met my expectations, but one of the rubber cushions on the eyecup kept coming off. I eventually got so frustrated trying to put it back on that I removed both of the cushions. It is extremely disappointing to pay this much for something that would otherwise be a quality product, except for the cheap and poorly designed eyecups.

This is the nicest pair of binos I've ever owned. Maybe not the best compared to others but for this price, probably the best option. Idk if I broke the bezel ring for the diopter adjustment or if it was broken from the factory. Regardless, Vortex replaced it entirely and overnighted the replacement before my hunt. Can't beat their customer service.

This review is on the storage and not the optics. I have used a chest bino harness for the last 8 years. This new style that doesn't make a good seal is just a no go for me and something this expensive. I called vortex to talk about it and they simply said this is what it is and offered no solution. I expressed that wasn't acceptable still no solution. I expressed I would find a aftermarket solution. I purchased a large size claim shell case and am very happy with the fit. These binos will never be chest carried and this is a much better solution and should be factory

The binoculars are crystal clear, extremely light for the size, and user friendly. High quality lenses that do not appear to fog over very easily.

100% worth the money with these binos. I used to have a pair of diamondbacks and it's pretty insane how much clearer the glass is. When the sun starts to go down everything starts to get hard to see with the diamondbacks but the image on razor UHD is still very clear. This product is a little pricey but definitely worth the money if you need to see clearly when the light starts to go down or if you're glassing far distances.

I like these 12x50's immensely. Except they are 10oz heavier than stated on this website (28.7oz stated, actual 38.7oz). Because of the excess weight, I would not buy again.

Context- Used for this years deer and elk hunting seasons. Have used Diamondback 10x42's for the last 6 years. Glass quality really shines in the low light and in color contrast, think early morning glassing into an old burn area. Eye fatigue was considerably less than the Diamondback line. I really mean that, and this was a feature I was least expecting/ optimistic for. Long glassing periods on a tripod were very, very comfortable. Further, the image just looks crisp and beautiful. Utility for these is a relatively light, very capable but not over powered set of binos on the chest, that when thrown on a tripod, turn into an absolute spotting scope. Normally the "dual sport" concept just leaves a user with a heavy, poorly suspended dirt bike and an uncomfortable street bike on the highways. This is a rare find, where the concept of the 12x50 perfectly shined through with the form and glass quality of this Razor line. Fit and finish is classically Razor, and awesome. I appreciate that when I pick them up they connote robustness and refinement. Dial movements feel precise. I did not end up using the accompanying harness, but it felt nice seeing it included in the box after spending this much. Weight, size, price, and capability really line up on this model. The jump in price is significant for the Razor's, but the jump in performance and comfort of looking through these provides more than enough value in return. I am very happy with this purchase.

These binoculars have become my number one spotting tool for picking out deer in sage and elk in thick timber, before I unpack the spotter and tripod. The clarity is awesome and light transmission gets every detail.

I've been using the binos for scouting for elk in the high country of NM. The binos seem to be lighter in weight to other comparable high end brands. The clarity is great and also comparable to other high end brands.

I have the Razor HD 12x50 and the Viper 10x42. I know it's a little bit of an apples and oranges comparison, but in my experience, the Razor is not worth the upcharge. If there is a clarity improvement, it is extremely slight. I also notice the Razors are a lot more finicky to find the perfect focus. You really have to fine tune the focus knob to get it just right. Same with the diopter setting. I've used both side by side in all light conditions and for me, the Viper is the best bet.

My wife got me the Razor HD 12x50 as an early Christmas gift, and I couldn't be happier. The second day I used them, I had them set up on a fully extended tripod (about 5' 6". I stepped away from the tripod to grab something out of my pack, and right as I did, the wind knocked over the whole setup. The binoculars hit the ground first, directly on a rock. After a string of curse words, I picked them up expecting the worst, but other than an almost imperceptible scuff, they were just fine. I know Vortex has their VIP warranty, but I would've been really bummed to have to use it after only two days. In addition to the durability, these binoculars can really butcher the landscape. The two ridges on the right side of the photo are about 2.25 miles away and there was no problem picking those apart. The mountain behind those ridges is about 5.5 miles away, and I was able to watch a couple of moose work their way across the slope. These are great binoculars and they've really improved my long glassing days.

Between the quality of glass and the quality of the VIP warranty, I have taken these binos from the river bottoms to the mountain tops and everywhere in between with no fears. The edge to edge clarity is as good as I’ve ever seen in much more expensive glass, and even with the 12x’s I can get them to focus on close sheds in the timber and also spot muleys at over a mile in the desert. I will forget my tags and gun at home before I forget these.

I have a pair of these for over 3 years. The Razor Bino is the best and have carried out their purpose without fail or any issues what so ever. So you could understand my sadness when by accident they fell off a table and damaged the eye cups. To my great surprise the great folks at Vortex came to my rescue. They not only fixed them but also cleaned them up. They did a complete service to them and shipped them back to in no time AT NO COST TO ME. They even included a note thanking me for being a customer. It does not get any better than this. Thank You Vortex for your great service and products.

I've had these 6 months and gave them a big test. I compared to 3 friends other brand glasses. By far these are better quality then a 2500 dollar pair of other brand glasses. Crystal clear, perfect quality, and amazing warranty. I'm a lifetime customer now!!!
