I bought this for about half the MSRP at a time when the retailer must have known that the G4 reticle was discontinued. Got the display model - it was the only one they had. I has done duty on a Savage 10 and currently sits on a CZ rimfire. At 50 yd BR matches the center dot fits right in the center ring of the target at 15x and the image is superb, much superior to my Diamondback Tactical 6-24 at 24x. This scope is small and light, ideal for hunting - which I don't do but I love its performance at the range. The only concern I have is the turret clicks are not very crisp.

Nice scope overall, good glass, nice reticle, only downside is the lack of switch view. Its WAY too slow to adjust magnification. Its actually hard to do. When out hunting you basically have to choose a magnification first because its too hard to adjust once you get a shot opportunity. I would definitely recommend this scope if the magnification adjustment was easier, but as of now I would only recommend it to the midwest deer hunter sitting in a stand. Value is good if you get it on sale or a discount from website pricing.

Always been a leupold man but I wanted a light weight optic that could be used at distance out to 1000 yards plus so I bought one. I have it mounted on a kimber open country and have used it to hunt with in open hardwoods to super thick mountain laurel and to ring steel at 1,000 yards and couldn’t ask for anything else out of it. Super clear, tracks perfect, and elements don’t bother it. Many more vortex optics will be added to future rifles

Received a 3x15 I wanted for a light weight Barrett Fieldcraft in 7MM-08 with 21” barrel. Very happy right out of the box. Mounted it in medium Tally rings. I have been shooting this setup for over a year now. I do a fair amount of shooting and have shot this set up out to 1100 yards laying prone and shooting only off a pack. The scope has worked flawlessly. It has supper clear glass that one would expect on the Razor line of scopes. The tracking in the elevation dial and the the reticle match perfectly allowing one to dial for longer shots if time allows or simply shoot using the MOA marks on the reticle. Once zeroed the scope has never needed to be adjusted for zero even after maxing out the elevation dial and returning back to zero often. I highly recommend this scope to anyone looking for a robust high quality scope that allows them to hunt up close or as far out as one feels comfortable. This setup has served me well here in WV, a hunt last December in TX, andI plan on using it next year in Alaska. Great scope!!!

I bought mine over a year ago and initially had some issues with the parallax adjustment knob being rough and not focusing correctly. Customer service was awesome and the replacement scope has been perfect. It has lived through load development and a Kodiak Island brown bear/blacktail hunt on my 7lb .35 Whelen. It has handled a lot of stiff recoiling rounds off the bench, soaking rain, and banging around the Alders on the pack and was dead on when I needed it to be. Mine has the G4 recticle, I love it and so does everyone who looks through the scope but I see it's no longer available, Vortex needs to bring it back.

I bought this scope for a rifle I rebuilt. New stock, trigger job, coating, etc. I wanted a light scope but with a decent magnification range. I have actually shot it at dusk and it gathers light very well for a 42mm objective. Coming from a 56mm objective on this gun I was thoroughly impressed. Very light, very nice scope coating, different from the other vortexs I have owned. Adjustments are nice, turrets aren't as positive I would like for a 1000 dollar product, kinda weird actually....hopefully no issues in the future but so far so good. I would recommend making a few more scopes in this range. I know they used to, don't see why they quit. this is what people want! the best glass in the lightest package with the simplest controls. My biggest complaint so far is...the reticle. I understand this scope has no turrets, and the reticle is the bridge for that...however. I cant tell you how many people I know that will go to leupold or anybody else for one major reason....they can get a plain duplex reticle in the best scope they offer. Center cross hair is little fine for my taste, but I understand being on the focal plane its on, if you were to push the scope to its limits you would appreciate the cross hair. I can deal with the reticle, it wont matter as much when its on an animal, kinda messes with head on the bench though. so PROS: weight the best coating Ive seen on a scope yet clarity throughout all magnification excellent eye relief "its a long scope" low light is amazing at 42mm outstanding actually CONS: reticle options "only one" turrets clicks aren't very positive IMO same with all vortex scopes need more scopes like this appealing to the hunter who wants the best product possible with the simplest controls

These are becoming a little hard to find, especially the 2-10, and it’s little brother. I bought multiple 3-15 LH’s, and a 2-10. They’re both excellent scopes. Glass is great, and mine are tracking mechanically perfect.

It was exactly as expected, lightweight, crisp clear glass, and allowed me to knock down an elk at 400yds while mounted to my 300 WIN. I would make the turrets have a more textile feel and add a lighted or tritium reticle for enhanced target acquisition. Overall a great scope and since I got such a great price when it came on sale with the G4 reticle I would say price per ounce or pound for pound a 5 star.

I own several Vortex scopes, actually, I own 2 PST II FFP 5-25x50 MOA, 3 Razor HD LH, 2 Viper PST, Viper HS LR, a Strike Eagle, 2 Diamondback Tactical's, Crossfire II Scout scope, 3 Viper red dots, two Sparc, a Crossfire, Spitfire Prism, a pair Viper HD Binoculars, and a spotting scope and two of their tripods. My first Vortex was a Viper HS LR, the clarity was so impressive, the dials were perfect, everything about it I loved. So I then order Vortex rings, and rest as you can see is History. I have replaced every scope I own with a Vortex. I am a Patrol Rifle instructor and several off my guys are running the Vortex Magnifier. I ran a competitors glass for years in both hunting and sport shooting and have switch exclusively to Vortex due to the quality of the glass. I don’t own their top tier glass yet but had the opportunity to look through a buddies AMG and just wow, I need one now. Have owned the Razor HD LH for a couple of years and all aspects of this scope have exceeded expectations. Light scope, low and smooth turrets, great clear glass, and simple reticle. Dials up accurately for elevation. Would recommend to anyone. Also a proud owner of a Viper PST and Crossfire II scopes. Great products Vortex!

I bought this scope last year before a backcountry mule deer hunt. And I can say this is the best backcountry scope I could ever imagine. From 3-15 power. It worked wonderfully in ever situation I was in. From mule deer at 10 yard all the way out to 500 yards. Crystal clear optics and for the money, cant be beat! My spotting scope, binoculars , all my rifle scopes and rangefinders are vortex and I cant say enough good about them! Thanks vortex for an affordable yet durable and reliable product!

I have used this scope to kill several animals anywhere from 100 yards out to 600 yards. I also fell down a pretty nasty mountain with this scope causing a lot of scratches and deep gouges to scope. Killed my biggest course buck to date a hr after the call and scope was still spot on.

I purchased this scope towards the end of last fall and was only able to use it a few days before season ended. It’s been holed up in the safe since then, just last weekend I pulled it out to get ready for season and boy did I forget how much I love it!! Scope was right on zero still and was able to shoot right up to dusk with the amazing glass quality and ability to pick up light. 10/10 I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a higher end great priced optic!

I've actually got a discontinued 2-10x I'll eventually trade up to the 3-15x, but figured it's close enough to provide some feedback. I was going for light weight and good light transmission for hunting, and it doesn't disappoint. Groups are easy to see on paper at 100 and steel at 300, and even on an overcast day in heavy woods I could see deer right up until the end of legal hunting time (30 minutes after dusk). I'd definitely use again for a hunting scope.

I got this scope in time for whitetail season last year and was blown away with the difference it made in my ability to see during the early morning hours and when the sun started to dip below the trees. It's durable and holds zero. After using a Razor line product, I doubt I will be able to go back to using my Crossfire scopes except for range days.

I purchased a new rifle recently and needed a new scope for it and settled in on this one. Man am I glad I did. When I went out to sight it in it took a whole 4 shots to get 400 yds set up. The clarity and the simplicity of the reticle are the keys to this scope.

I’ve been running this scope since it was announced. The 3-15 is my ideal mag range as I’ll put a bullet into an animal at 500+ yards. The glass is great, the reticle is useful. Since it’s on a 5.5lb magnum, I appreciate linger rye relief. The only issue I’ve discovered is the eye box isn’t as generous as some of vortex’s competitors. Overall a good piece of glass and is semi-lightweight. Impressive for <$1000.
