AMAZING SCOPE ALL AROUND

i used this on a 20" and 22" 308win for distance shooting up to 1000 yards with no problem. the "Christmas tree" style reticle makes hold overs easy while the clarity made farther shots a breeze. I'm truly astonished at the features and quality for the price that vortex offers this at. I was mostly interested in the locking turrets and reticle on this scope but i got illumination, sun shade, and throw lever on top. I recommend this scope to a lot of people at work who are looking for something with more magnification that your everyday 3x9.

Great optic at reasonable price

I have 2 of these, one on a PRS rifle, and one on a hunting/ELR rifle. Both have held up perfectly. The tracking has been exact, clarity is amazing for the price, and it has a great reticle (EBR-7C MRAD). It would be a great optic for anyone in the NRL22, NRL Hunter, or PRS.

Fantastic Budget Option

This optic is robust and feature packed! The reticle is well designed and easy to use. The turrets' zero can be adjusted with anything remotely flathead shaped. The glass quality is leagues better than I expected, of course it isn't Leupold clear, but for half the price, you are getting 90% the capability. Not to mention the warranty should you somehow break it. Quick points: I had near perfect clarity at 1000m The turrets track reliably I have only shot this out to 800 but I feel very confident in pushing it further.

For the money/ warranty I

For the money/ warranty I don't think you can get a better lpvo. I have around 5k rounds through this optic on a bcm mk2 14. 5. For the money you cannot get a better lpvo. Maybe spend the extra 75 bucks and grab the FFP if you have some spare cash in your pocket. No complaints here.

Does the job, nothing fancy

It does what it needs to do. one complaint that i have is the reticle illumination dial doesn't match the actual intensity level. for instance off is actually 9. obvious misstep by QC. everything else functions tho.

Vortex Strike Eagle

I have had a few months to really dig into this optic and use it out at the range, and boy am I impressed. I am really impressed with the lens quality and how smooth the zoom dial is. The different illumination levels are especially nice! I cant wait to test this optic out in the snow and other weather conditions. I will highly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice LPVO for their rifle! I paired these with Vortex's riser mounts and can not complain!

Strike Eagle 5x25

Bought this scope about 3 years ago for my 6. 5 Creedmoore. Great scope for the price and zero issues whatsoever. Recently went hunting from a boat and got ejected into 10ft of water with my gun, with the strike eagle scope, as well as my Vortex binos and both survived water intrusion and function after being in 10 ft of water! Highly recommend!

Well Worth The Price

Picked this up to put on my daughter's Ruger Precision Rimfire 22lr. She wanted to learn to shoot a rifle, so I figured this would be a great scope to get her started and would not out grow anytime soon. I purchased it during a flash sale when it was 50%, and it is well worth the money. The glass is really clear and easy to see the reticle. The reticle makes for easy elevation and windage adjustments without having to mess with the turrets. I like that it has locking turrets, and in order to make adjustments to elevation and windage, you have to pull up/out on the turrets. No accidental adjustments. We have taken it out to 300 yds and it does well. This is a great beginner/intermediate scope. And of course Vortex's lifetime warranty puts my mind at ease knowing that this investment will always be protected.

This scope absolutely blew me

This scope absolutely blew me away. For the price, its features, adjustability, clarity, and overall quality are second to none-it truly competes with optics far outside its price range. I initially bought it for a 6. 5 Creedmoor build, but I ended up putting it on my trusty old . 30-06, and its performance has been fantastic. This is an awesome scope that won't leave you wishing you'd gotten something "better. " While the **Viper** and **Razor** lines offer superior glass and more advanced features, if those aren't in your budget, you'll be more than happy with this one. If you don't need features like locking turrets or an illuminated reticle, the **Venom** is also an excellent choice. My primary hunting partner uses the Venom on all of his kids' hunting rifles, and we've had many successful hunts with it.

Best ELD scope for the money!

I've tried about a dozen scopes of with similar specs. There is nothing for under $1000 that even comes close from my experience. If your budget minded and wish to reach out long range you won't find better.

Great value precision optic

I have this on a 6. 5 Creedmoor. I have friends with $2,000 optics and I can still shoot with them easily out to 1,000 yards. You can easily spend more, but you won't find a better value.

Works fine, glass brightness not amazing

Optic is also very heavy. Primary Arms has a version that offers better clarity and is much lighter (and illuminated) for under $400.
