Great product, as well as the best warranty on the market. Vortex stands by all of their products. Have used it for a whole season and 0 issues. Crystal clear glass and easy focus and adjustments. For the price you litterally cannot beat this! For both pros and anyone who is just getting into the sport of hunting or spotting this product does not dissapoint in any way. Love my new spotter! 10/10 would recomend.

Fantastic product, pricing and service
I purchased this scope 3 years ago because of the price and quality. Frankly, I did not pay much attention to the warranty at the time. A few weeks a family who had temporarily lost their housing was staying in our home and their children knocked the tripod with scope over and it broke into 2 pieces. It was then I "discovered" the unconditional warranty. I assumed the scope could be repaired and returned it to Vortex. Today I received notification that the scope could not be repaired and I received a new replacement. I am floored. Who provides this kind of incredible support and service anymore? Fantastic product, pricing better than other comparable high-end scopes, and incredible service. Amazing.

Vortex is serious about their warranty.
Ok, I'm not going to spend time on the optics which are right up there with the best. This is about the VIP (NO BS) Warranty.
I purchased the Razor HD 27-60X85. In 2018. I dropped it this season, sent in the form. They responded in 3 hours with a pre-paid UPS shipper.
I will receive a repaired/new scope in 8-10 business days. That's a $2400 scope.
Remember, It's Christmas. This is a well run organization.
So, I just took the cash and purchased the 10x42 UHD's to replace my Zeiss Victory's I've used for 30 years. My son gets them for Christmas.

Great Scope, terrible case.
The scope itself is great. The optical clarity is great. It isn't crazy heavy. I personally prefer the two knob focus over the new single, but it does streamline the scope. The only major complaint I have is that the neoprene case that comes with it is awful. You have to wrestle with it to pull the shade out, it doesn't have any sort of leashes for the rubber covers or the neoprene covers, and its a production to get the cover back on. I plan on looking for a better case, but no complaints on the scope itself.

Sharp Images, great zoom.
This thing has such clear images. My family and I even had fun looking at the full moon with it. Easy assembly and easy to use. The only thing that has me puzzled I don't seem to get a good image with the diopter extended for eye relief.

My initial impression of this spotting scope is that it is quality glass with quality controls. It seems durable and the controls were smooth to use but not too smooth. There was enough resistance that my adjustments stayed where they were and I had to make deliberate motions to make changes. The glass was VERY clear with a ever so small amount of distortion around the edges. It did not affect any of my observations it was so miniscule. I used it to observe Minnesota deer at approximately 600 yards, and I had no trouble identifying individual bucks that were out feeding in the corn stubble on rolling hills. It will soon be out in Montana hunting mule deer, and I will update the review accordingly.

Best spotting scope yet!a
I upgraded from the Viper the the Razor. Its a very noticeable upgrade at the range. Great clarity and easily adjusts focus with magnification. I use it from 100 -600 yards mainly on the weekends. No problems so far. Its more expensive but worth every penny especially on a sale around $1500. Would recommend for any serious shooters. May be too expensive for beginners but it would be a buy once cry once purchase that'll last forever, especially with its warranty.

Great Scope Great Glass
This spotting scope is great!!! You get a great scope for a great price. I used this scouting on an upcoming elk hunt in November. Let's not forget about the Vortex Lifetime Warranty. It's nice to know I will never have to buy another spotting scope because of whatever can happen to your optics out in the field.

I moved up from a diamondback early last summer to this bad boy! The diamondback was great, but this it ruthless! My kids and I even use it to look at the moon! Superb all around! Hoping to invest in the moa reticle one day!

I've used this optic for hunting and surveillance. The quality of the glass gives a nice clean view, and magnification really lets you push out distance. Everything was easy to set up in a matter of minutes. This item is great for people who want to really close the gap on long range items.

Great Optic
The mechanics and finish of the scope are first rate. Vortex made a wise decision to use an Arca-Swiss footprint, which makes the scope compatible with a wide-range of great tripod heads. Inclusion of the neoprene body cover was also a pleasant surprise, since most manufactures charge a pretty penny for the same thing.
Optically, the scope is as sharp as its name would suggest. Chromatic aberration is noticeable. However, you would need to spring for something from Kowa or Swarovski to get better results. Also, the eye-box is not particularly forgiving.
Outside of these quibbles, it's a great scope for the price.

Good Value On Sale
Got the prior model for ~$750 on close-out. Glass is very good. No edge distortion. Depth of field focus at maximum magnification is almost but not quite perfect. Good low light transmission. I like the older two stage focus better than on the current model. Cover/carrying case is a nice bonus. I'd have to spend a lot more $ to move up to Leica or at least Revic to do any better.

Fantastic Spotting Scope
This spotting scope has definition I did not believe available in a spotting scope. I can not only pick out a bug on my target at 300 yards I can tell what type of bug it is.
We do a lot of one mile shooting and this is where the fantastic glass really shines through. We are constantly able to watch impacts at a mile with this spotting scope
