Versatile
If you're hunting or shooting on the range, this scope does it all. I can hit targets out to 725 yards consistently using this scope on my AR. My one gripe is that the scope covers easily fall off.

Amazing scope!
This scope blew me away, the features, adjustablity, clarity and quality for the price is second to none! This scope competes with others way outside its price range. I bought it for my 6. 5creedmore hunting rifle and due to some life events didn't get to go on that hunt and ended up putting it on my custom precision . 22LR for precision tactical shooting and I couldn't be happier. This scope is awesome and will not leave you haning or wishing you got something "better". While the Viper and Razor line offers better glass and features, if you can't afford that you wont be upset with this scope at all. If you don't need the locking turrets or lit reticle the Venom is also a great option in my personal experience (my primary hunting partner has the venom on all his kids hunting rifles and we have plenty of time and harvests behind that scope).

Solid, budget friendly lvpo
It's built tough-I've had zero issues even after heavy use on . 300?BLK and 5. 56 rifles. And Vortex's VIP lifetime warranty gives peace of mind. If you're looking for a first LPVO or a dependable mid-priced optic, the Strike Eagle is hard to beat.

Great glass, greater price.
The dial stops on this unit has been flawless and the clarity is pretty incredible, especially considering the price point. I use this on my . 308 and 6. 5cm rifles in a gamut of training locations, the glass is clear enough to push out to over 1k yards with ease. Well done Vortex.

Soldier and Hunter
It is an excellent addition to the AR. It maintains accuracy with rough use and is great for quick throws on magnification. The only grip is how easily the throw lever unscrews from the scope and is in danger of falling out. The scope is excellent for entry-level rifles not looking to spend too much on a good scope. There are some discrepancies in the uniformity of the stenciled reticle, but you have to look for it.

Awesome scope
Just recently added this scope onto my AR10, awesome optics can't wait to get out and shoot it. Price and warranty and previous ownership of 5 other vortex scopes has me staying with what works.

Great scope!
It's an amazing scope for the price. It's a little tall but I'll get use to it knowing it's going to be great! I haven't gotten to use it yet, still waiting for the right mounting kit but spring is here and ranges will be opening up soon to zero it in! It has a wide range where anyone could use it. Possibly a little heavy for a beginner depending on the gun it's mounted to but I think the optics will make up for that.

Fantastic scope that is reasonably priced
I put this scope on my 300 blackout rifle. I like to shoot pigs right below it gets dark. Scope lets a lot of light in and gives a great sight picture to harvest pigs

Excelente visor, lo tengo montado en mi Ruger 10-22 cal 22LR y es fantastico, he disparado a mas de 100 yardas sin tocar una regulacion, optica excelente y con el clima de este extremo sur donde vivo, ningun problem a -18°C su comportamiento excelente, y la reticula genial .

Exellent optic
light weight and versatile on my new ar set up. Will definitely be using this scope on my future builds. as always Vortex never fails to provide quality products. mounting and sighting in was quick and easy. whether a beginner or expert this scope will get you the shots you are looking for on the range or out chasing small to medium game. as with any scope I'd advise a good set of rings, lined up and lapped.

Great value and versatile
I bought this for an AR 10, I had narrowed it down to a fixed 6 or this. I decided that while I would almost always shoot at x8 it might be nice to be able to back off to x4 for scanning.

Great optic for weekend shooters and even experienced ones too. I have used this in 3 tactical classes and banged this up and still no issue at all. Worth the purchase. Also if it ever fails lifetime warranty.

Not what it was designed
Not what it was designed for, but I have this mounted on a 350 Legend for deer in "straight-wall cartridge" states. It has performed great for the price point. The only thing I would change is the reticle, but I knew what I was buying going into it. I really like that I can crank it down to 1x or 2x while doing drives for close range shots and then dial it up to 6x or 8x to stretch out the range.

Great scope! I have several Vortex scopes.
Slowly making my way up the line and I couldn't be happier with the strike eagle.
Vortex has the best customer service I've ever received making my choices that much easier!
If your on the fence choosing between companies you can't go wrong with these guys.

Yes it is FFP, the product description doesn't have that listed but it is FFP. Smoother operation than the 3-18 FFP strike eagle I have. Good glass quality. Had been debating going with the Arken equivalent of this model just due to price, but after getting a side by side comparison I think the vortex is the better option for this price range. Locking turrets were my main reason for taking this specific model over the PST model even though the PST has more adjustment. Just personal preference.

Great scope
The scope is crystal clear and is going to be excellent for hunting medium to long ranges. I will be using it this upcoming hunting season out in the bad land looking for those longer rang shots, the illumination feature makes it so much easier to see the cross hairs when you are zoomed out all the way. if you have bad eyes this item is perfect, you might not be able to see the cross hairs on the lesser models but the illuminated cross hairs is without a doubt worth it.

Quality Scope
So far I'm loving this scope. Though I've done minimal shooting with it, I've discovered that it is great with lower light ranges, tracking is smooth and excellent, reticle is clear and easy to see. Only thing I'm not sure about is that it feels heavy.

Great scope
It lives on a Remington 700 308 it works so great I've pushed it out to 900 yards with no issues and even with wind the bullet holds are amazing super clear glass and big 56 mm bell so let's plenty of light in only gripe is I wish the elevation turret had marks to tell how many revolutions you've made but besides that I like the scope

I added this scope to my . 308 win and love how clear the optics are. The option to illuminated the reticle is awesome for low light situations. The quick zero stop is also great for adjusting quick adjustments when you have an animal pop up unexpectedly. This product is more for a mid range hunter but could also be great for beginners. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reasonably priced scope for longer ranges.
