This is a great budget friendly red dot for any rifle or application. I like it a lot it's clear site glass and field of view. I also like that this red dot is capable of using both red & green dot so you have both choices with the click of a button! For me this red dot is great for close acquisition shooting as most are. I am currently looking into the VMX-3T magnifier to put behind the strike fire 2 for longer distance shooting, I feel it would make a great addition with the flip style magnification option, i've read great reviews on that also and heard people hitting 6 inch targets from up to 200+ yards with the combination!

Great quality as usual with Vortex optics. My only suggestion would be to offer a choice of cantilever heights so that you don't need to spend an extra $80 for the absolute co-witness height mount.

Excellent Optic

Had the first version of the strike fire . After a decade it finally started dimming, vortex paid for shipping and before I knew it I had a new strike fire at my door with the mount! Very pleased customer?.thank you Vortex!

Warranty

I ordered this sight and when it arrived the battery cover had bad threads on it. I sent a message to Vortex and within 12 hours they responded and had put in an order for me to get a new battery cover free of charge! I will definitely be buying more Vortex products in the future.

Awesome Sight, Even Better Company

I have one mounted on my APF AR-15 and I got to say it works very nice, I would definitely recommend these red dots to the next guy or lady.

I bought this 2 years ago. It is the best sight I own. Only one I have never had to ask for warranty work. Which is sad cause I hear vortex has the absolute best warranty program out there. (At same time not sad cause that means they are doing it right). Thank you for a great product. Highly recommend.

One of the best

I've had a Strikefire II since a 2018 with no complaints. It was originally on a 5.56 AR. I sold that rifle, but kept the optic. Eventually it made it's way onto a Budget build 7.62x39 AR as an upgrade from the old Bushnell I had on it. I recently made a trip to the range to sight it in, and let me tell you, it made me love that rifle even more. I regularly recommend this optic to people who are looking for a red dot for their AR platform rifles. I've had no issues from 25-100 yards with 2 different rifles. Easy to mount and zero, clear sight picture, crisp red dot, good battery life. Can't ask for much more. And with Vortex's warranty, I know I'll be taken care of if someone were to happen to it.

Great Purchase !!!

Bought this red dot last week mounting was simple on my AR. Zeroed it in with 6 rounds just followed the instructions. This optic is legit I will be a Vortex customer from here on out. Great red dot at a great price.

Great Red Dot

I've had this for about a year, bought the vmx3t magnifier a few months later. Awesome combo. No match on the market for the money. Holds zero very well. Definitely recheck zero after removing the optic. I replaced the muzzle device, removed the optic to do so, and had to redial the dot completely. Great now, just a heads up.

Spot on Accurate after taking a beating.

I owned a Vortex StrikeFire for 15 years and loved it.  When I finally had a problem with it, I mailed it to Vortex.  They replaced it with a brand new Vortex II.  From the time I sent it in,  to the time got the new scope was about two weeks.  Vortex keeps their warrenty promise.  Excellent!
